Adding a Category Template

How to Add a Category Template

  1. On the Category Template, you will find the “Add Template” button in the right-hand corner.

  1. Upon clicking the button, you will land on another page to create a template.
  2. On the page, Give a unique name to your category template. Make sure the name is easy to identify and within the 80-character limit.
  3. Next, Assign Products to this Template. Here, you will have to create Rule Groups to map Etsy products to TikTok Shop products under this category.
Product Must Match: The rule defines whether you want all the selected conditions to be fulfilled or any one of them.
You can assign products to the template based on the following conditions:
- Select “Any Condition” to fetch the product(s) fulfilling any of the conditions created.
- Select “All Condition” to fetch the product(s) fulfilling all the conditions created.
- Click on “Add More” to add multiple conditions in the Rule Group.
- Click on “Run Query” to fetch the number of the product(s) based on the Rule Group(s) created.

You can also click on Override Existing Products. This means if you have assigned a product to this Category, and it happens to be included in some other category as well. The app will override the previous category and place the orders in this new category.

  1. Now select the most relevant product category for the listed products.
Based on the selected category, you can map Etsy attributes with TikTok attributes.
  1. Set custom pricing for the category template. You can set a Fixed or Percentage pricing rule, and the products will be uploaded to TikTok Shop with the updated price rule.
Save the settings to successfully create your Category Template. You can view or edit the settings from the Category Template section.
