Deactivate a product on Amazon when removed from Shopify
When a product is deleted, archived, or set to draft in Shopify, the app can automatically mark its Amazon listing as Closed, so you don't keep getting Amazon orders for items you no longer sell.
Steps
- Go to Settings → Product Settings → Inventory.
- Find the Deactivate product on Amazon card.
- Toggle it on.
- Save.
What this triggers
When you do any of the following on Shopify, the linked Amazon listing is automatically set to Closed:
- Delete the product from the Amazon Channel sales channel.
- Archive the product.
- Change the product's status from Active to Draft.
Note
- If this toggle is off, the product is only unlinked from the app — its Amazon listing stays as-is. You may keep receiving Amazon orders for it.
- If the same setting is also applied on a product edit or template edit, priority is: Product Edit → Template Edit → Global Settings.
