Disabled Products

Disabled Products

The Disabled Products section helps you view and manage products that have been removed from active management inside the CedCommerce eBay Integration app.

When a product is disabled, it is no longer actively managed through the app. This means the app will not continue syncing or managing that product until you enable it again. You can use this option when you do not want specific Shopify products to be handled through the eBay integration for the time being.

What are Disabled Products?

Disabled Products are products that were previously imported into the app but are currently not active for app-level management.

A disabled product remains visible inside the app under the Disabled Products section, but it is separated from the main Manage Products grid. This makes it easier to keep your active product workspace clean while still allowing you to restore products whenever needed.

Disabling a product does not mean you are deleting it from Shopify. It simply means the product is not currently being managed through the CedCommerce eBay Integration app.

When should you disable a product?

You can disable products when:
  1. You do not want to list a product on eBay right now.
  2. The product is temporarily unavailable or not ready for marketplace selling.
  3. You want to pause app-level syncing for specific products.
  4. A product was imported into the app by mistake.
  5. You want to clean up the active product grid without permanently removing product data.
  6. You need to review or update product information before managing it again.

 How to Disable Products

To disable products from the Manage Products section:
  1. Go to Product Management.
  2. Open the Manage Products page.
  3. Select the product or products you want to disable using the checkbox.
  4. Click the More Actions menu, represented by the three-dot icon.
  5. Select Disable Products from the dropdown.

Once disabled, the selected products are moved out of the main product grid and can be accessed from the Disabled Products section.

How to View Disabled Products

To view products that are currently disabled:
  1. Go to the Manage Products page.
  2. Click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.
  3. Select Disabled Products.

You will be redirected to the Disabled Products page, where all disabled products are listed.
The page displays products that are not currently managed through the app and provides an option to enable them again.

Page Grid

The Disabled Products grid gives you a quick overview of each disabled product. You can review the following details:
  1. Image: Displays the product image, if available.
  2. Product: Shows the product title imported from Shopify.
  3. Status: Shows whether the product is uploaded, not uploaded, or in another listing state.
  4. Inventory: Displays stock availability and variant-level inventory information.
  5. Profile: Shows the assigned profile, if any.
  6. Product Type: Displays the Shopify product type mapped to the product.
  7. Variant Attributes: Shows variant options such as size, color, or other attributes.
  8. Vendor: Displays the Shopify vendor name associated with the product.
  9. Action: Provides the option to enable the product again.

You can also use the search bar to find disabled products by title.

How to Enable Disabled Products Again

To re-enable a disabled product:
  1. Go to the Disabled Products page.
  2. Find the product you want to activate again.
  3. Click the Enable button available under the Action column.
After enabling the product, it becomes available again for management through the CedCommerce eBay Integration app.

Once enabled, you can manage the product from the regular Manage Products section and perform the required eBay listing or syncing actions.
