Email notifications in the CedCommerce Amazon Channel app
The app sends email alerts so you know when something needs your attention — your monthly order limit is filling up, or an order/shipment/refund/cancellation has failed to sync. All of these are managed from one place: Settings → Notifications → Email.
Where to find email settings
- In the app, go to Settings → Notifications.
- The Email sub-tab opens by default and shows the Email Settings panel.
- Each alert has its own toggle — turn on the ones you want, leave the rest off.
What you can be notified about
| Alert | When you'll get an email |
|---|
| Alert for exceeding order limit | When your monthly Amazon order count crosses 50% or 90% of your plan limit (each threshold has its own toggle). |
| Failed order sync with Shopify | When an Amazon order fails to sync into your Shopify store. |
| Failed shipment order sync | When a shipment update fails to push from Shopify to Amazon. |
| Failed refund order sync | When a refund fails to push from Shopify to Amazon. |
| Failed canceled order sync | When a cancellation fails to sync between Amazon and Shopify. |
Who gets the emails
- Alerts are sent to your registered email — the email tied to your Shopify store on the app.
- You can add an Alternate email id in the same panel to send alerts to a second address (e.g., an ops or support inbox). See Add an alternate email for notifications.
Note
- Notification settings are global — they apply to all Amazon accounts connected on this Shopify store. There's no per-account override.
- We follow a no-spam policy — you'll only get emails for the alerts you've turned on.
- The footer of the panel shows the Last updated timestamp so you can confirm when settings were last saved.
