Etsy’s updated Return, Refund, and Exchange Policy allows sellers to choose their desired time frame for returns and refunds, offering more flexibility.

Consider these key questions:

• Will you accept exchanges?

• What time frame will you offer for returns and exchanges?

This updated policy is designed to make it easier for buyers to return or exchange items, but it’s up to each seller to decide how long these options will be available. Sellers can offer return and exchange periods that best suit their business, ranging from no returns to a set number of days for either service.

A policy template can be customized to include both returns and exchanges or just one of the two, depending on the product and the seller's discretion. 

This flexibility lets sellers customize their policies based on their needs and product types, providing clear and consistent guidelines for their business.

You can select from the following options:

• 30-day returns

• 45-day returns

• 30-day exchanges

• 45-day exchanges

Make sure to save your settings to ensure all changes are applied.
