General Settings

The General Settings section allows you to review and manage essential details about your Etsy shop status and integration preferences.

1. Etsy Shop Status

  • Use this option to toggle your shop's mode between Draft and Live.

  • Draft Mode: This mode holds your listings if your Etsy onboarding is incomplete, ensuring that no unfinalized listings are published.

  • Live Mode: Once your Etsy shop setup is complete, switch to this mode to make your listings visible on Etsy.

2. Reconnect Etsy Shop

If you're encountering issues with your Etsy shop connection, such as suspension or invalid token errors, you can reconnect your shop using the following steps:

  1. Select the appropriate reason for reconnection from the given options:

    • Your current Etsy shop has been "Suspended"

    • You connected the wrong Etsy shop

    • You encountered an "invalid token" error while attempting an action

    • Other: If none of the listed options apply, provide a valid reason for reconnection in the input field.

  2. Click the Reconnect Etsy button to re-establish the connection.

3. Template Transfer Options

When reconnecting to a new Etsy shop, you can choose to transfer templates from your previous shop:

  • Shipping Template: Select "Yes" to reuse the same shipping template from your old shop. Choosing "No" requires creating new shipping templates.

  • Policy Template: Select "Yes" to retain your previous policy template. If "No" is selected, you'll need to set up new policy templates.

Tip: Carefully review the template options to ensure consistency across your listings.

Once you’ve configured the settings, click Save to apply your changes. For more guidance, visit Get Support or refer to Etsy’s onboarding article here.
