Gear Exchange Account Settings

The Settings page allows you to manage key operations for syncing your store with the Gear Exchange platform. It is organized into three main sections accessible via the left-hand navigation menu:


  1. Gear Exchange Account: Manage access tokens and webhook settings for secure integration.
  2. Product: Set up product syncing preferences.
  3. Order: Configure how order data is managed and synced.

Gear Exchange Account

This section manages the core connection between your store and the Gear Exchange platform.


Access Token

  1. Access Token: A secure way to authenticate your connection with Gear Exchange.
  2. Authorized At: Displays the exact date and time the token was activated.
  3. Change Access Token: Use this button to reauthorize or update your token if needed.
Notes
The status of the account should show ‘Connected’ for a successful account connection.

Gear Exchange Webhooks

This section provides the Webhook URL and Security Token required to enable real-time data syncing from Gear Exchange.
Components:
  1. Callback URL: The endpoint to receive live updates (orders, products) from Gear Exchange.
    --> Copy this URL into your Gear Exchange account’s webhook configuration.
  2. Token: A secure key used to validate incoming webhook requests.
    --> Paste this token into the corresponding webhook field in your Gear Exchange settings.
The app can now receive real-time updates whenever a product or order is updated in Gear Exchange with the help of webhooks.
