Why am I seeing the "Invalid receipt ID" or "Invalid Etsy order number" error?

This error occurs when the wrong Etsy shop is connected to the app.

How to resolve this issue:

Step 1: Check your connected shop
Make sure you’re connected to the correct Etsy shop in the app.

Step 2: Reconnect your Etsy shop

  1. Go to the Settings section in the app (click View More in the left menu).

  2. Navigate to General Settings and scroll down to Reconnect Etsy Shop.

  3. Check the box: “You encountered an ‘invalid token’ error while attempting an action.”

  4. In the pop-up, select Yes for the following prompts:

    • Do you want to transfer your previous Shipping Template to the new store?

    • Do you want to transfer your previous Policy Template to the new store?

  5. Click Reconnect Etsy in the top-right corner of the section.

Step 3: Contact support (if needed)
If the issue persists, contact us on support@cedcommerce.com for assistance.

Once the correct Etsy shop is connected, this error will no longer appear. For more details, refer to our [Help Center documentation].
