Global and General Settings

Once you’re done authorizing your Shopee and Lazada seller accounts with the integration, you’ll need to set up a couple of global and general settings options. Finalizing these settings will mark the completion of your onboarding process and you will be ready to sell efficiently on Shopee and Lazada marketplaces. 

Global Options

The Shopee & Lazada WooCommerce app provides some essential attributes to help you improve your product listings. These save your time and make the product templates more efficient. You can use them again for future listings, making your work even easier. 

The section lets you map fields and default values for Product listing type, shipping profile, manufacturer, product supply, and the year of manufacturing for your product. The selected information for your listings will be saved in the profile and can be edited later as well. 

General Options

Under the general settings section, you can activate an automatic feature that initiates inventory and order updates across your WooCommerce, Shopee, and Lazada stores. This is done via ‘Crons’, which are crucial in keeping your stores synchronized by ensuring that your inventory and orders are always up-to-date.

This WooCommerce plugin has schedulers for inventory and order. All you need to do is click on the drop-down menu, ‘Enable’ the scheduler, and hit ‘Save & continue.’

Once you're done with the general settings, you can now proceed to explore the integration by clicking on the Overview button. 

These similar steps to set up Global and General settings are also applicable to the Shopee module as well.
