How can I add a new shipping template in the App?
To begin creating a shipping template, navigate to the Templates section in the left-hand navigation bar. Once there, click on Create Shipping Templates in the top-right corner.
Step-by-Step Guide to Creating a Shipping Template:
Dispatch Origin
- Select the country from which you’ll ship your products. This is the location of your store, and you can choose it from a dropdown list or type in the name of the country.
- Once selected, a “Standard Shipping” panel will appear, which we will explain further.
Processing Time
- Define the time it will take you to process and ship an order after it’s placed. This is different from delivery time and should reflect your actual order processing. Choose a time range from the dropdown or create a custom range if necessary (e.g., for made-to-order items). Remember, processing time cannot exceed 10 weeks.
Origin Postal Code
- In some regions, providing a postal code is required. You can add your shipping location’s postal code if applicable; if not, this field can be left blank.
Template Name
- Assign a unique name to your shipping template for easy identification in the future. The app may auto-generate a name, but you have the option to customize it for better clarity.
Save the Template
- After filling in all the necessary information, click Save. If there are no errors, your shipping template will be saved and ready for use with future profiles.
