How can we update our listing titles on Etsy?
How to update your listing titles on Etsy:
It’s recommended to update the product titles on Shopify, sync those updated titles in the app, and then re-publish the products to update the titles on Etsy. The app considers Shopify as the central platform for all product management.
However, if you want to have different titles on both platforms, follow these steps:
Disable Auto Sync for Titles:
- Go to the Product Management tab in the Settings section.
- Disable the Auto Sync option for Title.
Once this setting is disabled, the app will no longer sync the title from Shopify.
Update Titles in the App:
- After disabling the auto-sync setting, update the product titles inside the app.
- Re-publish the products to apply the new titles on Etsy via the app.
Note: Directly updating titles on Etsy may cause data to be overwritten in the app. It’s recommended to always update titles in the app after disabling the auto-sync setting to avoid conflicts.Related Articles
