Profile Creation

Under the profiling section, you can apply a certain set of rules and customization. In profile product relating category template, Logistic class, Inventory template, Price template. Profiling helps your products in bulk for the category and attribute mapping. If any product of the same Product Type or Vendor (or following any condition(s) that you have set in Profile) is added, it automatically gets mapped in the respective profile. Under the profiling section, click on ‘Add profile’ to create a new profile.

Note - You need to create separate profiles for different types of Products. For example - TShirts, Computers, Mobiles, etc.

Profile Name

In the general section, you have to assign a name to your profile. It can be any name that describes the identity of a particular profile. The name of the profile should not contain spaces or any special characters except "_" For example, if you are creating this profile for Men's Shirts. You can name the profile as Men_Shirts

Profile Products

This section decides which products will get the profile assigned.

Select Auto-Created or Manual profile

Sellers can choose the method by which they would like to create a profile of your product. If you choose“Automated”, then the products will automatically assign to the profile (in the case when a new product imported) with the same condition. If you choose “Manual”, then you’ll need to manually add the products in the profile when imported new products.

Category & Attribute Mapping

  1. Assign the name of your category template.
  2. Choose the most relevant category for your products and map them to the leaf node.
  3. If that particular category required "Attribute Mapping" in that case sellers need to map the attributes.
  4. As per the seller's requirements, they also can also map the "Advanced Attributes" of Catch.

Shipping Charges

Under the logistic class section, you can differentiate and group your products according to their Size and Weight. The logistic class has various selections according to the size and weight of your product. You can easily assign your product and group them in their most suitable size and weight.

Custom Inventory Set-up

The seller can provide the inventory details that they want to apply for their products under this profile.
  1. Write your template name.
  2. Set minimum stock value so that products at or below this quantity will be Out Of Stock on Catch marketplace.
  3. Set your maximum inventory so as in case you have chosen don't track inventory on Shopify.

Custom Price Set-up

Custom pricing means that you can set up different pricing plans on your Shopify store to your Catch store. Steps to provide custom pricing of all the products available in that profile given as follows:
  1. Step 1: Enable the Custom Pricing "Yes"
  2. Step 2: Select the Custom Type Either you wants to increase or decrease the pricing of your products.
  3. Step 3: Choose on which basis you want to change the products either on fixed or percentage price.
  4. Step 4: It is the last step where the seller needs to enter the value of the price.
