I have refunded the order on Shopify, will it be synced to Etsy?

To process a refund for an Etsy order, you need to refund the order directly on Etsy, as there is no API available to sync refunds from Shopify to Etsy. Even if you’ve refunded the order on Shopify, the refund will not be synced to Etsy, and no amount will be refunded through Shopify.

Here’s what you need to do:

  • Refund the order manually on Etsy to ensure the refund is processed correctly.

Important Note: If you're managing the order from both platforms, the money for the order will only be deducted once. Therefore, make sure to perform the refund directly on Etsy to avoid any discrepancies.
