I’ve updated product details (such as descriptions, SKUs, or variations) on Shopify, and the changes are reflected in the app, but why aren’t they updating on Etsy?

The updates made on Shopify need to be synced to Etsy through specific actions in the app, depending on the type of update:

For changes in product Title, Description, or Tags:

  1. Go to the app, select the products, and use the Publish on Etsy option from the bulk action menu.
  2. Click Action to send the updated information to Etsy.

For changes in SKUs:

  1. Select the products in the app and choose the Update Price & Inventory option from the bulk action menu.
  2. Click Action to update the SKUs on Etsy.

For changes or additions in Variations:

  1. Select the products in the app and use the Update Price & Inventory option from the bulk action menu.
  2. Click Action to sync the updated variation data with Etsy.

For sending selective variations to Etsy:

  1. Edit the product in the app and navigate to the Variants tab.
  2. Ignore the variations you don’t want to send to Etsy, save the changes, and then use the Update Price & Inventory option to sync the selected variations.
By performing these actions, your updates on Shopify will reflect on Etsy as required.
