This section provides a comprehensive guide to listing and managing your Shopify products on Amazon using the CedCommerce Amazon Channel app. You'll gain insights into key functionalities that simplify product listing, allowing for seamless integration between your Shopify store and Amazon.

With these tools at your disposal, you can optimize your product listings efficiently and maintain a hassle-free selling experience on Amazon.
Once you import your Shopify products into the app and set up your preferences, navigate to the Listing page from the main menu.
The Product Listing page lets you manage your Shopify products on Amazon. You can view your Amazon listings and make changes as needed to keep them accurate and up to date.
The Amazon Listing Status shows your product's current state on Amazon. Each status tells you if your product is listed, ready, and available for sale. Here’s a breakdown of the different Amazon Listing Statuses and what actions you can perform:
All
Status Meaning: All your products in the app
Actions
Edit: Modify and update your product listings to ensure accuracy and optimize their visibility.
List: Add new products to your inventory and create listings to make them available for sale.
Resolve Errors: Address any errors or issues associated with your product listings to maintain their compliance and improve their performance.
Not-listed
Status Meaning: The item is not listed on Amazon.
Action: Upload the product. The CedCommerce Amazon Channel app will automatically pull the Shopify SKU and ISBN, UPC, and GTIN from your catalog and perform a lookup to check if an ASIN (Amazon Standard Identification Number) already exists. You will be informed that this process is running.
Inactive:
Status Meaning: The item is listed on Amazon but is not fit for sale.
Actions: For these products, you can update offer information, update product information, or delete the product. This includes updating Price, Business Price, Quantity, and Offer Start/End dates for selected SKUs. If there are multiple SKUs (e.g., multiple child SKUs with existing products on Amazon), you can provide the necessary offer info for each SKU. The initial values for price, quantity, and offer start/end dates will be automatically filled in from Seller Central, and you can adjust prices based on your Shopify catalog.
Incomplete:
Status Meaning: The item is missing some information.
Action: Update product information. You can update Price, Quantity, Map Attributes, and Offer Start/End dates for selected SKUs. If multiple SKUs exist (e.g., multiple child SKUs with existing products on Amazon), you can provide the required offer info for each SKU. The initial values for price, quantity, and offer start/end dates will be automatically filled in from Seller Central, and you can adjust prices based on your Shopify catalog.
Active:
Status Meaning: The item has an Amazon SKU in the Shopify catalog.
Actions: You can update offer information, update product information, or delete the product. You also have the flexibility to update Price, Business Price, Quantity, and Offer Start/End dates for selected SKUs. If multiple SKUs exist (e.g., multiple child SKUs with existing products on Amazon), you can provide the necessary offer info for each SKU. The initial values for price, quantity, and offer start/end dates will be filled in from Seller Central, and you can adjust prices based on their Shopify catalog.
Error:
Status Meaning: There was an error in the listing process.
Action: Correct the error to proceed with the listing.
Here’s what you can expect to find:
Product Image & Title:
The first column features high-quality images of your products. In the second column, you’ll see the product title. This piece of information helps you quickly identify and manage different products with ease.
SKU
The second column contains the Shopify SKU, which is used to identify your product for various purposes, including orders and linking.
Product Details:
Under this, you can view Shopify price, barcode, ASIN (if assigned), and fulfillment(FBM/FBA). This gives a clear and crisp view of all the product details that are listed or yet to be listed.
Template:
The fourth column displays which template the product is assigned to. Templates are predetermined configurations that help ensure your product information meets Amazon’s listing requirements, improving the quality of your listings.
If your product is not assigned to a template and you want to assign it or create a new template, simply click on the "+" button to do so. Moreover, if the product is assigned to a template, you can click on it to access the template’s configurations in the Settings section as well.
Inventory:
The next column displays the current inventory levels for each product. This real-time insight into your stock levels is crucial for maintaining adequate availability and preventing overselling.
Variant:
This column displays a clickable list of all the product variants, such as 1/2/3. You can click to open the list and perform actions on specific variants.
Amazon Status AKA Amazon Listings Status:
This column informs you about the product’s presence on Amazon – whether it’s listed(live), or not listed.
Activity:
The "Activity" column tracks all actions and changes related to each product, including new listings, inventory updates, and other modifications. It maintains a chronological record of these activities and displays any errors that may occur, along with guidance on how to resolve them.
Feed:
When you click on the feed, you can view all the recent activities performed related to that product listing.
Actions:
You can perform actions such as “Edit product” or “Amazon Lookup”. These actions will be covered in detail later in this section of the guide.
Amazon Preview
Clicking on the eye icon will open a preview of your product listing on Amazon. You can then review and update your product listing if necessary.
Actions from the Product Listing Page
The CedCommerce Amazon Channel app provides an advanced filtering system to help sellers efficiently manage and take action on their Shopify products listed on Amazon. These filters allow users to quickly locate specific products, streamline workflows, and perform both single and bulk operations.
Search Bar Options: Users can refine their search by selecting specific criteria, such as:
Title: Find products by their Shopify title.
Vendor: Filter products based on their supplier or brand.
Product Type: Search for products grouped under the same category.
Barcode: Identify products using their unique barcode.
SKU: Locate specific stock-keeping units for better inventory tracking.
More Filters Panel: This panel provides a wide range of filtering options, including:
Inventory: View products based on their stock levels.
Tags: Filter by specific product tags assigned in Shopify.
Template Name: Locate products associated with specific listing templates.
Product Status: Identify whether products are "Active," "Inactive," "Incomplete," or "Not Listed" on Amazon.
Activity: Track ongoing processes, including product syncing, error resolutions, or updates.
Fulfillment Type: Filter based on whether products are Fulfilled by Amazon (FBA) or Fulfilled by Merchant (FBM).
Barcode Exists: Identify products with or without barcodes, which is crucial for Amazon listing compliance.
Amazon Recommended Product Type: Helps determine the Amazon category best suited for the product.
Once filtered, users can take action on specific products or multiple items simultaneously:
Once products are selected, users can perform the following actions:
Upload Product(s):
List selected products on Amazon.
Ensures that all required attributes are correctly assigned.
Sync Product(s): Updates product details that you may have added, or edited from Shopify to Amazon, ensuring consistency.
Amazon Lookup: This feature checks if your product barcodes are unique or already exist on Amazon. The product becomes eligible for offer listing if a barcode is already available. Its status changes from “Not Listed” to “Not Listed: Offer”.
Sync Inventory: Updates stock levels across Shopify and Amazon to prevent overselling.
Sync Price: This will update the product price on Amazon to match the price in your Shopify catalog. Please verify all details before starting this process to avoid overriding other settings you may have applied to that product (e.g., business price).
Sync Image: Enables you to sync updated product images from Shopify to Amazon. Visual consistency is crucial for building brand trust and attracting buyers.
Assign Template: Allows assigning a listing template to one or multiple products at once.
Unassign Template: Removes assigned templates from one or selected products.
Delete Product: This allows you to remove a product from your Amazon listings. This is useful when you no longer wish to offer a particular item on Amazon.
Sync Status (Previously known as Match From Amazon):
This action links existing Amazon listings with Shopify products imported into the app based on SKU and barcode. This ensures accurate synchronization and efficient inventory management.
Amazon Lookup
This action helps identify whether your product barcodes are unique, meaning they are not listed yet, or if similar listings are available on Amazon.
Bulk Update:
This process facilitates the bulk import or update of Shopify products into the app.
Export Product Information:
Export details of selected or all products as a CSV document. Make necessary changes to this exported information, and then use the updated CSV to import changes back into the app.
Import Updated Product CSV:
For seamless product updates, export product information as a CSV file, make necessary updates to the file, and then import the updated CSV back into the app. All changes will be reflected on the app and your Shopify store.
You can choose to sync individual product’s specific data such as Inventory, price, image, or all information corresponding to the product from here. Here is how:
Identify the product you want to sync, click on the checkbox next to it
Open the “Select Actions” dropdown.
Choose the information you want to sync.
Confirm the process by selecting the action.
Check the status from the Activity section on the dashboard.
Identify the product you want to delete, click on the checkbox next to it
Open the “Select Actions” dropdown.
Click the Delete Product option from the dropdown.
Confirm the process.

Click the the three dots in the Action column.
Click the Edit Product option.
Check out the Product detail page that opens up for you.
Scroll to find the information you want to change.
Make the change and click save.
