Onboarding

Onboarding

When you first open the SHEIN Importer app, you're greeted by a guided onboarding flow designed to get you up and running quickly. It's broken into three clear steps: connecting your SHEIN account, mapping warehouses, and choosing a plan, with a progress bar at the top of each screen so you always know where you are. This guide walks you through each step in detail.

Step 1 – SHEIN Authentication

The first step is to connect your SHEIN seller account to the app. This is the foundation, and without it, the app can't manage your listings, orders, prices, or inventory.

Steps for Connecting

  1. Click Connect SHEIN to go to your SHEIN seller account.
  2. Log in to your SHEIN seller account and click Confirm Authorization.
This two-step process is the standard OAuth-style flow: you're being sent over to SHEIN to grant the app permission, then returned to the app once authorization is complete.

Connect SHEIN

Clicking the Connect SHEIN button opens SHEIN's login page in a new window or tab where you sign in and confirm authorization. Once approved, you're redirected back to the app, and Step 1 is complete.

Don't Have a SHEIN Seller Account?
A Sign up on SHEIN button on the right takes you to SHEIN's seller signup page. This is helpful for users who downloaded the app before setting up their SHEIN seller account; you can register first, then return to complete onboarding.

Step 2 – Warehouse and Location Sync

Once your SHEIN account is connected, the next step is to map your Shopify locations to your SHEIN warehouses. This is what keeps inventory accurate across both platforms.

Mapping Fields

Each mapping row contains the following:
  1. SHEIN Warehouse – A dropdown where you choose the SHEIN warehouse you want to map. The placeholder shows "Select warehouse" until you pick one.
  2. Link icon – A small chain-link icon between the two columns indicates the warehouse and location are tied together.
  3. Shopify Location – A multi-select field where you can pick one or more Shopify locations to associate with the chosen SHEIN warehouse.
  4. Threshold Inventory – A checkbox; when enabled, the "Enter minimum value" field becomes active, and you can set a stock buffer below which the product is treated as out of stock. This acts as a safeguard against overselling.

Save Button

The Save button in the bottom-right corner commits your mappings and advances you to the next step. The mapping you create here is the same one available later under Settings → Warehouse Mapping, where you can edit it any time.

Step 3 – Select Price (Choose a Plan)

The final step is choosing the plan that best fits your business.

Plan Comparison

Three plans are displayed side by side:
  1. Beginner – $39/month: For new sellers who've just started selling on SHEIN.
  2. Growth – $69/month: For growing stores aiming to grow their SHEIN business.
  3. Enterprise – Custom Plan: For sellers looking for custom solutions for their SHEIN business.

Choosing the Right Plan

  1. Pick Beginner if you're just starting out and order volumes are modest.
  2. Pick Growth if you're scaling up and want priority support along with more order capacity.
  3. Pick Enterprise if your business has unique requirements that don't fit a standard tier, or if you want a dedicated growth manager.
Once you subscribe, your 7-day free trial begins automatically, and your plan details become visible in the Subscription section of the app.
