Ordered Item Mapping: Resolve Unmapped Products in Etsy Orders
The Ordered Item Mapping feature allows you to fix errors where products in an Etsy order are not correctly matched with their corresponding Shopify products. This issue typically occurs when:
- The Etsy product was never linked to its Shopify equivalent.
- Product SKUs or variations differ between Etsy and Shopify.
- A product was deleted from Shopify but is still available on Etsy.
You can manually assign the correct Shopify product to the ordered Etsy item, ensuring seamless fulfillment and inventory updates by using Ordered Item Mapping,
Step-by-Step: How to Use Ordered Item Mapping
- Find the Etsy order with the error notification indicating unmapped products.
- Click the three-dot menu beside the affected order.
- Select Ordered Item Mapping
- The app will display a search bar, which you can use to type in the SKU of the product to search for it.
- Once you find it, the app will link the products
- Once linked, the order will be created on Shopify.

Key Notes
Real-time Update: The mapping takes effect immediately for the selected order.
Future Orders: This mapping applies only to the current order. To permanently link products, ensure you update product profiles in the app.
Variant Precision: Double-check size, color, or other attributes when selecting Shopify variants to avoid mismatches.
Fetch Orders
The Fetch Order action allows you to manually retrieve orders from Etsy into your Shopify store. You can either fetch a single order or multiple orders in bulk.
Fetch Single Order
- This feature allows you to manually fetch and create a specific order in the app if it wasn’t automatically retrieved due to technical issues.

Once the order is fetched, it follows the same flow: the app will automatically create it on Shopify, sync inventory, and update shipment details on Etsy once the order is shipped.
- To use this feature, click on the Fetch Single Order button. You’ll be prompted to enter the Etsy order receipt ID.
- After entering the ID, click Confirm, and the app will fetch the order into your Shopify dashboard.
Fetch Multiple Orders
- The Fetch Order option helps you manually retrieve multiple orders for a specified time period if they weren’t fetched automatically.

Once fetched, the orders follow the same process: they are created on Shopify, inventory is synced, and shipment details are automatically updated on Etsy once shipped.
- When you click on the Fetch Order button, a calendar pop-up appears.
- You can choose from predefined time ranges or select a custom date range on the calendar.
- After selecting the desired time range, click Apply, and the app will fetch all orders from Etsy within that period.
- These actions ensure smooth order management and minimize the chance of missed orders, keeping your workflow efficient and up-to-date.
