Order Management



The Order Management section helps you handle orders seamlessly between Shopify and Etsy. Here’s how to make the most of it:

Shopify Settings

  1. Cancel/Refund Orders: Enable this option to automatically update orders that have been canceled or refunded on Etsy in your Shopify account. Canceled orders will be tagged as "canceled by the Etsy customer," while refunded ones will be labeled "refunded from Etsy."

  2. Shopify Order Name as Etsy Receipt ID: Turn this setting on to receive the Etsy receipt ID in Shopify instead of the default Shopify order name. You can customize the format using a prefix and suffix. For example, it can look like 'Prefix (Receipt ID) Suffix', such as 'etsy113883ID'.

  3. Send Note to Shopify in Order: Customize messages to your customers by arranging different message types in your preferred order. You can include:

    • Buyer Message: Personalized notes from buyers.

    • Gift Message: Special messages for gift orders.

    • Custom Message: A default note that will be sent if no specific message is provided.

  4. Order Tax Split Setting: If you want to apply different tax rates for various countries, you can select specific countries and enter the desired tax percentage. This helps ensure accurate tax calculations for both product costs and shipping.

  5. Shopify Order Tags: You can add up to 10 tags that will be displayed in Shopify’s Order section for easy identification and management.

  6. Shopify Shipping Method as Etsy Shipping Profile Name: If no shipping method is specified in the Etsy order, this setting allows the shipping template name to be used in Shopify.

  7. Map Etsy with Shopify Shipping Method: Align the shipping methods between Etsy and Shopify to ensure smooth order management.

Etsy Settings

  1. Manage Orders through the App: Enable this option to fetch orders from Etsy to Shopify and manage them from Shopify.

  2. Manage Orders for Digital Listings: Turn this on to fetch digital orders from Etsy and mark them as completed in Shopify.

  3. Manage Shipment from the App: This option allows you to send shipping details from Shopify back to Etsy.

  4. Default Carrier Name to be Sent on Etsy: Enter a valid tracking carrier name to use if no carrier information is received from Shopify.

  5. Map Shopify with Etsy Carrier Mapping: Match your shipping carriers between Shopify and Etsy to maintain consistency and simplify your shipping process.

By effectively using these settings, you can make it easier to handle orders from both sales channels efficiently.
