Attribute Mapping The Attribute mapping subsection is for setting up product-specific attributes. It means you can choose attributes applicable only to the individual product. It can be done by enabling the Set Custom product attributes button.

Also, Let it remain disabled so that attributes defined under Category Template will apply to the product.
