Product Linking

Linking your Shopify products with SHEIN is a key step to avoid duplicate listings and keep your product data in sync. This section helps you match and manage your products across both platforms, whether you're just starting on SHEIN or already selling there.

What does product linking do?

Once products are linked:

  • Inventory and price sync automatically between Shopify and SHEIN.

  • You’ll avoid duplicate uploads on SHEIN.

  • You’ll only need to manage product edits like title, images, and descriptions directly from your SHEIN seller account.

| Note: You can only update price and inventory for linked products via the app. All other details must be edited on SHEIN.

Inside the Listings > Product Linking section, you’ll see 3 tabs to help manage linking:

1. Linking Required

This tab shows all Shopify products that aren’t yet linked to any SHEIN listing.

  • You can view product details like title, SKU, and SHEIN status.

  • Click the Link button under the Action column to start linking it with the right SHEIN product.

Tip: You can use the sort by button to arrange products by Title or Inventory as shown below:

2. Linked

Products in this tab are already successfully connected between Shopify and SHEIN.

  • These listings have a green link icon next to them.

  • Only price and inventory updates made in Shopify will reflect on SHEIN for these products.

Notes
| Note: Once a product is linked, only price and inventory are synced across Shopify and SHEIN. Visit the SHEIN seller panel to edit the linked product.

3. Partially Linked

This tab shows listings where some but not all product variants are linked.

Example:

  • If your product has 8 color variations on Shopify but only 4 are linked to SHEIN, you’ll see it here.

  • You can complete the linking for the remaining variants using the Link button.

Additional Notes

  • Use the sort icon to arrange by Title (A–Z / Z–A) or Inventory.

  • You’ll also see a green link icon next to linked items, and a tooltip explaining why certain fields can’t be edited from the app.

Always check the Linking Required tab for products that still need to be linked.
