Products Section Overview

The Products section in the PrestaShop AliExpress Connector is your central hub for managing product listings between PrestaShop and AliExpress.
It provides:

• Full visibility into product sync statuses, errors, and approvals.
  
  

• Bulk and individual actions for uploading, updating, and managing listings.
  
  

• Direct control over product status without logging into AliExpress Seller Center.
  
  

1. Updated UI Layout & Elements

The new Products page consists of:

A. Status Overview Bar (Top Counters)

The top counters display real-time product counts grouped by status:

• All Items (TOTAL ITEMS) – Total products imported from PrestaShop.
  
  

• Online Products – Active listings currently live on AliExpress.
  
  

• Processing – Products currently uploading or updating.
  
  

• Offline Products – Listings have been deactivated.
  
  

• Audit Failure – Products that failed AliExpress audit checks [have data missing].
  
  

• Error – Products where uploads failed due to critical issues.
  
  

• Not Uploaded – Products imported into the connector but not yet listed.
  
  

• Not Ready – Products missing critical data required for upload.
  
  

• Pending Approval – Products under AliExpress review.
  
  

• Draft – Products saved as drafts, or archived on Aliexpress.
  
  

💡 Tip: Click on any status counter to quickly filter products in that category.

B. Product Action Buttons (Top Right)

The top-right buttons allow bulk actions:

• Upload Products to AliExpress – Bulk upload selected products to AliExpress.
  
  

• Update Products to AliExpress – Push changes (title, description, attributes) for multiple products.
  
  

• Sync Product Status – Refresh statuses from AliExpress for all selected products.

2. Product-Level Actions (Actions Column & Dropdown)

For individual products, you can perform the following actions:

• Validate Product - Verify compliance with AliExpress before uploading.
  
  

• Upload Product – List the product on AliExpress.
  
  

• Update Product – Push changes (title, attributes, descriptions) to AliExpress.
  
  

• Update Price – Sync updated pricing.
  
  

• Update Quantity – Sync updated stock levels.
  
  

• Activate – Reactivate a paused listing.
  
  

• Deactivate – Temporarily deactivate a live listing.
  
  

• Sync Status – Fetch the latest listing status from AliExpress.

The Edit button dropdown in the Product Listing Grid allows you to take specific actions on individual products directly from the grid, without navigating to a separate page.

Updated Actions Available

1. Validate Product
   
   

• Checks if the product meets all AliExpress requirements before upload.
  
  

• Highlights missing fields or incorrect mappings to prevent errors.
  
  

2. Upload Product
   
   

• Uploads the selected product to AliExpress using the assigned profile and mapped attributes.
  
  

3. Update Product
   
   

• Pushes changes (title, description, attributes, images) from PrestaShop to AliExpress.
  
  

• Use this after editing product details.
  
  

4. Update Price
   
   

• Syncs the latest price from PrestaShop to AliExpress without affecting other details.
  
  

5. Update Quantity
   
   

• Updates inventory levels on AliExpress to match your PrestaShop stock.
  
  

6. Sync Status
   
   

• Fetches the latest status of the product from AliExpress to reflect its current state in the connector.
  
  

7. Activate Product
   
   

• Sets the product online on AliExpress if it is currently inactive.
  
  

8. Deactivate Product
   
   

• Sets the product offline on AliExpress without deleting it, allowing you to reactivate later.

How to Edit a Product? 

Click the Edit icon in the Product Grid to open the Product Editing Interface. The interface is now divided into two tabs: Product Info and Attribute Mapping, with additional settings panels on the right.

1. Product Info Tab

This tab allows you to directly manage core product data before syncing it to AliExpress.

Editable Fields & Sections

• Modify the product title to optimize it for AliExpress SEO.
  
  

• Maximum length: 255 characters.
  
  

• Description
  
  

• Edit or localize product descriptions for better marketplace visibility.
  
  

• Images
  
  

• Reorder or replace product images.
  
  

• Only the first 8 images will be displayed on AliExpress.
  
  

• The first image becomes the primary display image.
  
  

• Variations Info
  
  

• For products with variants, edit:
  
  

• Regular Price (USD)
  
  

• Sale Price (USD)
  
  

• Weight (kg)
  
  
  

Right-Side Panels (Additional Controls)

• Profile Name
  
  

• Displays the profile currently assigned to the product.
  
  

• AliExpress Current Status
  
  

• Shows the real-time listing status (e.g., Pending Approval, Live).
  
  

• Sync Settings
  
  

• Allows you to override global sync rules for this product.
  
  

• Toggle individual fields (Title, Price, Image, Weight, etc.) to control what data syncs to AliExpress.
  
  

• Attribute Sync Settings
  
  

• Similar to Sync Settings but specifically for attribute data.
  
  

• Use this to selectively push attributes like Stock, Category & Attributes, etc.
  
  

💡 Tip: If you enable these checkboxes, the product will sync the selected fields even if they’re disabled globally.

2. Attribute Mapping Tab

The Attribute Mapping tab lets you override profile-level attribute configurations for this product only.

• Uncheck to customize attribute mappings specifically for this product.
  
  

• AliExpress Attributes Mapping
  
  

• Map all Required Attributes (mandatory for successful upload).
  
  

• Update GPSR (Product Qualification) Attributes if compliance documents or labels need to be changed.
  
  

• Modify Variation Attributes (color, size) if this product uses unique values.
  
  

• Optionally, enhance Recommended Attributes to improve listing visibility.
