Global Price Adjustment
Seamlessly list products in different currencies with the Global Price Adjustment feature in the CedCommerce Amazon Channel App. Acting as a Global Currency Converter, this tool allows you to adjust product prices to match the target Amazon marketplace’s currency. Whether expanding into international markets or catering to different customer demographics, this feature ensures accurate price conversions for global selling.
Note: This section appears only when your Shopify store currency differs from your Amazon marketplace currency.
In a global eCommerce landscape, pricing products in local currencies is crucial for:
Competitive pricing in different marketplaces
Enhancing customer trust by displaying familiar currency values
Simplify international expansion with seamless price adjustments
The Global Price Adjustment feature provides an efficient way to adjust and upload product prices, ensuring they are correctly converted for your target audience.
Identify the base currency of your Shopify store, as this is the starting point for all product pricing.
Set a multiplier to automatically adjust Shopify prices to match the target Amazon marketplace’s currency.
Example:
If your Shopify store currency is USD ($) and you are listing products on Amazon.in (Indian Rupees ₹), applying a multiplier (e.g., 83.5) ensures the correct conversion.
A product priced at $10 on Shopify would be ₹835 on Amazon.in with this multiplier.
With this feature, you maintain consistent pricing across marketplaces while ensuring accuracy in international transactions.
