A shop section is a designated category within your Etsy store that groups similar products together.
It helps you organize your inventory, making it easier for customers to navigate and find specific items. By creating distinct shop sections, you can enhance the shopping experience, improve visibility for particular products, and streamline your overall shop management.
Each Shop section can be customized and tailored to reflect varied product offerings on Etsy.
1. Assigning Products: Users can assign products to different shop sections, allowing for better organization and easier access for buyers.
2. Tracking: The CedCommerce app enables users to track the ranking and active count of their shop sections, helping them understand performance and visibility.
Ranking: This shows how well your shop sections are performing in terms of visibility and search results. A higher ranking means better visibility, leading to more potential customers finding your products. Active Count: This indicates how many products within a specific shop section are currently active and listed for sale. Tracking this helps you manage inventory and ensure that your most popular products are consistently available for purchase.
3. Manage Sections: Users have the option to edit or delete existing shop sections as needed.
On the Ced App, you can access these Shop Sections by clicking on "Fetch Shop Sections" in the upper right corner. This will let you sort your Shopify products in these sections before publishing them.
To create a new shop section, click on "Create Shop Section" in the upper right-hand corner. A pop-up like so will appear, which will allow you to name it as per your preference.
Similarly, to edit a shop section, click on the dit action button, and rename your shop section as per your preference.
