Step 03: Basic Configuration
This step allows you to configure your product settings by selecting categories and mapping attributes. You can always change these settings later.
Without configuring these settings, you won’t be able to import products.
Authentication Callback
You’ll get a ‘Copy Token’ pop up that contains ‘Callback URL’ and ‘Token’ that are utilized for syncing webhooks. This helps with data syncing across platforms and reflects any changes to your products in almost real-time. You need to paste the URL and token in your Webook configuration panel on Gear Exchange.
How to Set Up Webhook Notifications?
- Go to API Settings in your Gear Exchange portal
- Click on ‘Set up Webhooks’ button to open the Webhook Configuration panel
- Paste the URL and Token
- Select ‘Listing status change’ and ‘Order status change’
