Sync FBA orders from Amazon to the app and on to Shopify

Sync FBA orders from Amazon to the app and on to Shopify

By default, only FBM orders flow through to Shopify. To also bring FBA orders into the app and forward them to Shopify, turn on the two FBA sync toggles. Enable both for the full Amazon → app → Shopify path.

Steps

  1. Go to Settings → Order Settings → Order.
  2. Toggle Sync FBA orders from Amazon to app on — this pulls FBA orders from Amazon into the app.
  3. Toggle Sync FBA orders from app to Shopify on — this then forwards those FBA orders to your Shopify store.
  4. Save.

Add customer details for FBA orders

For privacy, Amazon does not share buyer names with sellers on FBA orders, so on Shopify the customer name on a synced FBA order is set to "Customer / Customer" by default. You can customise this default name to anything that fits your workflow (e.g., your store name or "Amazon Buyer").

  1. On the same panel, find the Add customer details card.
  2. Toggle it on.
  3. Enter the First Name and Last Name you want to use on FBA orders.
  4. Save.

Note

The customer-name override applies to FBA orders only. FBM orders continue to receive the actual buyer name from Amazon.
