Shipping Template: Required for every profile.
Inventory Template: Optional, but helps manage stock levels.
Price Template: Optional, but simplifies pricing setup.
Policy Template: This helps you define your shop policies like return or exchange guidelines.
Shop Section Template: This organizes your listings into sections within your Etsy shop.
Production Partner Template: For sellers working with partners, this captures relevant details about them.
To create or manage these templates, click on "Templates" in the left-hand navigation menu, which is the fifth option from the top. This will take you to the templates grid where you can set up and adjust them as needed.
The Edit and Delete action buttons for templates offer you control over managing your templates:
Edit: Clicking the "Edit" button allows you to modify the details of an existing template. You can update settings such as shipping preferences, inventory management, pricing, or policies as needed.
Delete: The "Delete" button enables you to remove a template that is no longer required. Once deleted, the template cannot be recovered, so ensure it's no longer in use before proceeding.
Both options are accessible in the Actions column within the templates grid, giving you flexibility in keeping your settings up to date.
The templates page is divided into two main sections –
The top section has two buttons – one for fetching the existing Etsy Shipping templates (only available on the shipping tab) and the other for creating a new template.
The templates grid section, where you can see existing templates (divided into six tabs for each type of template).
Let’s talk about the template grid first, then we’ll move on to fetching and creating the templates.
The templates grid section has 6 tabs – Shipping, Inventory, Price, Policy, Shop Section, and Product Partners – to separate the templates for your convenience.
