Understanding Category Template
Category Template is used for mapping the TikTok Shop product attributes with your PrestaShop product attributes. This mapping enables sellers to modify/edit all products under that Category Template in a go. With the help of a Category Template, you can apply a certain set of rules and customization to your products. With this feature, you can automate your product mapping. This means that if, in the future, any product of the same category or vendor (or following the condition(s) as set by you in the category template) is added, it will automatically get mapped under the respective profile.
Category Template List:
You can have an overview of the following in this grid:
- Name: It reflects the name of the products, as displayed on TikTok.
- Category Name: It reflects the name of the category template assigned to that specific product.
- Rules: It reflects the condition on which a PrestaShop product is mapped to a TikTok Shop category.
- Total Products Affected: It reflects the total number of products of the same name.
- View Rule: Upon clicking on View Rule, you can get an overview of the rules based on which the products are mapped to this specific category.
- Edit: You can edit/delete a specific product from the said template using this button.
- Click on the Edit tab, after which you’ll be redirected to the edit page.
- Herein, you can change or update the category template name and pricing rule, under the Category Template Info.
- In the Category Attribute Mapping, you can edit/update the attribute mapping details previously assigned to the template.
- Next, under the Rule Groups section, you can change/update the rules to be considered while mapping PrestaShop Products with TikTok Shop.
Product Must Match: The rule defines whether you want all the selected conditions to be fulfilled or any one of them.
You can assign products to the template based on the following conditions:
- Select “Any Condition” to fetch the product(s) fulfilling any of the conditions created.
- Select “All Condition” to fetch the product(s) fulfilling all the conditions created.
- Click on “Add More” to add multiple conditions in the Rule Group.
- Click on “Run Query” to fetch the number of the product(s) based on the Rule Group(s) created.
You can also click on Override Existing Products. This means if you have assigned a product to this Category, and it happens to be included in some other category as well. The app will override the previous category and place the orders in this new category.
