What are Failed orders?

Failed orders can occur when the app is unable to create Amazon orders on Shopify. There can be multiple reasons for this, but two major reasons for failure are:

1. Product not found on Shopify:

1.a If the ordered product’s SKU does not exist on the Shopify store:

        — In this case, you can create a product on Shopify with the same SKU (case-sensitive). It will be automatically fetched by the app.

        — Once the product is visible in the app, you can either link this product with Amazon products or wait for some time to get it linked automatically.

        — When the product is shown as active in the app, the orders will be automatically created on Shopify.

1.b If the product’s SKU exists in Shopify but is unlinked in the app:

        — Either link this product with Amazon products or wait for some time to get it linked automatically.

        — When the product is shown as active in the app, the orders will be automatically created on Shopify.

2. Unable to reserve inventory:

This error happens when the product is either out of stock or does not have enough inventory for a particular order, causing the order to fail. To fix it, update your Shopify store with enough stock, and the order will be created automatically after a while. If you want to fix it immediately, go to the Orders section, find the order by its Amazon Order ID, click "resolve," and then click "Create Order on Shopify".
