Why an Amazon order isn't yet imported

Why an Amazon order isn't yet imported

If an order you're expecting from Amazon hasn't appeared in the app, one of these three things is almost always why.

1. The order is still Pending on Amazon

The app only imports orders after Amazon moves them past Pending — Unshipped for FBM, Shipped for FBA. If the order is still Pending in Seller Central, that's expected; the app will pick it up automatically as soon as Amazon updates the status.

2. You connected the store recently

If you've just connected your Amazon account to the app, the app only back-fetches orders updated in the last 48 hours and creates them in Shopify. Older orders that were last updated on Amazon before that 48-hour window are not back-filled.

Any new order placed after the connection will sync normally — no action needed from your side.

Need older orders synced? If you want to fetch back-dated orders that fall outside the 48-hour window, contact CedCommerce support and we'll help you pull them in.

3. Your plan's order limit is exhausted

Every plan has a monthly order limit (plus any additional capped usage). Once that limit is fully consumed, order syncing from Amazon to Shopify is paused. Until the next billing cycle (or until you upgrade your plan), new Amazon orders won't be created on Shopify.

You'll receive an email when this happens. To resume syncing immediately, upgrade your plan from the Pricing page in the app. Otherwise, syncing resumes automatically at the start of the next billing cycle.

Note: After you upgrade, only Amazon orders updated in the last 48 hours will be fetched and created in Shopify. Older orders that fell during the paused period are not back-filled. To bring those back-dated orders in, contact CedCommerce support.
