AliExpress Listing Templates

The AliExpress Listing Templates section lets you create and manage templates for grouping products, assigning marketplace categories, and linking policies (Image, Pricing, and Inventory).

Actions You Can Perform in AliExpress Listing Templates

  • Add a Template

  • Edit an Existing Template

  • Delete a Template

  • Update Policy for a Template

  • Change Template Status (Enable/Disable)


Add a New Listing Template

Step 1: Click on the Add Template button located at the top right of the Listing Template grid.

Step 2: Fill in the required fields:

  • Template Name: Enter a name for internal identification.

  • Marketplace Categories: Browse and select the appropriate AliExpress category for your products. You can use the search box to filter categories.

Step 3: Configure template options:

  1. Override Existing Products

    • Override Assigned Products: Enable this option if you want existing products from other templates to be reassigned to this new template.

  2. Policies

    • Assign Image Policy, Pricing Policy, and Inventory Policy from the dropdowns. These policies define how your products will be managed in AliExpress.

  3. Conditions & Product Assignment

    • Conditions: Create rules to filter Magento products based on “ALL” or “ANY” conditions.

    • Apply Query: Click this button to fetch products that match the conditions.

    • Products Selection: Selected products will appear in the grid. Confirm the selection to assign them to the template.

Step 4: Click Save.
If successful, you’ll be redirected to the Listing Template grid with a confirmation message.

Edit a Listing Template

Step 1: In the Action column of the Listing Template grid, select Edit for the template you want to modify.

Step 2: Update details such as template name, policies, or product conditions.
Note: The Marketplace Category chosen at the time of template creation cannot be changed.

Step 3: Save the changes.

Change the Status of a Listing Template

Step 1: Select the template(s) from the grid using the checkbox.

Step 2: Open the Actions dropdown and select Change Status.

Step 3: Choose either Enable or Disable.

  • Enabled: Products in the template are active for syncing and listing.

  • Disabled: Products assigned to the template cannot be uploaded or synced to AliExpress.

Description of Fields in AliExpress Listing Templates

  • ID: Unique identifier of the listing template.

  • Account: The Magento account linked to this template.

  • Template Name: Internal name of the listing template.

  • Marketplace Category: The AliExpress category assigned during template creation.

  • Status: Shows whether the template is enabled or disabled.

  • Image Policy: The image policy applied to this template.

  • Pricing Policy: The pricing policy applied to this template.

  • Inventory Policy: The inventory policy applied to this template.

  • Total Products: Total number of products assigned to this template.

  • Active Products: Number of active products successfully synced to AliExpress.

  • Inactive Products: Number of products assigned to the template but not currently active on AliExpress.

  • Action: Allows you to view or edit the details of the template.
