Moving from TikTok 1P App to CedCommerce TikTok Shop Connector

This guide will help you transition seamlessly from TikTok’s native 1P solution to the CedCommerce TikTok Shop Connector—a flexible, customizable integration that enables enhanced control over listings, orders, inventory, and fulfillment for sellers.

Step 1: Install the CedCommerce TikTok Shop App

  1. Go to the Shopify App Store and install CedCommerce TikTok Shop Connector.
  2. Grant necessary permissions during app installation.

Step 2: Notify the CedCommerce Team

Once the app is installed:
  1. Reach out to CedCommerce via:
    1. Email: tiktokshop@cedcommerce.com 
    2. Lark (via TikTok AM or with the link)
  2. Mention:
    1. You're migrating from the TikTok 1P app.
    2. Request the temporary disabling of order sync until migration is complete.

Step 3: Connect Your TikTok Shop Account

  1. Open the CedCommerce app inside Shopify.

  1. Choose your region (US, UK, or Europe supported TikTok Shop region).

  1. Connect your TikTok Shop Seller Center using your credentials.
  2. Complete the OAuth authorization flow to link your TikTok Shop account with CedCommerce.

OR simply follow these onboarding steps. 

Step 4: Configure Key Settings in CedCommerce App

To ensure accurate syncing and control, configure the following under Settings:
  1. Warehouse Mapping: Map Shopify locations to TikTok warehouses.

  1. Shipping Carrier Mapping: Link Shopify shipping methods to TikTok-approved carriers.

  1. Inventory Sync Preferences: Choose how you want to manage your inventory syncing across Shopify and TikTok Shop stores.

  1. Price Sync Controls: Choose whether to sync Product Price or Compare-at-Price.

Step 5: Product Matching via SKU

  1. CedCommerce automatically matches products by SKU between Shopify and TikTok Shop.
  2. Ensure that SKUs are identical on both platforms. (Recommended)

5.1 Manual Linking (if SKUs do not match) 

  1. Go to the Linking Section inside the app.
  2. Find unmatched TikTok products and manually link them to Shopify counterparts.

  1. For large catalogs, you can request CSV-based mapping through CedCommerce support.

Step 6: Validate Product Linking

  1. Review all matched and manually linked products.
  2. Ensure no duplicates or mismatched listings exist in either catalog.

Step 7: Uninstall TikTok 1P App

Once product linking is complete:
  1. Go to Shopify Admin → Apps.
  2. Remove the existing TikTok Shop 1P app.

Step 8: Enable Order Sync in CedCommerce App

  1. Contact CedCommerce support to enable order syncing.
  2. This will activate live order sync from TikTok Shop to Shopify. 

Step 9: Fulfill Pre-Migration Orders

  1. Any orders received before migration (via TikTok 1P) will not reflect in the CedCommerce app.
  2. Fulfill those manually through the TikTok Shop Seller Center. You can also connect with CedCommerce Support for any required assistance. 

Step 10: (Recommended) Test the Integration & Confirm Sync Settings

  1. While optional, we strongly recommend performing checks like order creation, inventory syncing, pricing update and syncing, among others to ensure everything is set up correctly.
