Profile Section Overview

The Profile feature allows you to define and apply a complete set of listing rules for a specific group of products, which will then be listed on Miravia. It streamlines how you manage title formatting, pricing strategies, product mapping, and attribute syncing for different product types or selling scenarios.

Each profile consists of:

  • Profile Info: Configure the name, smart posting behavior, and title optimization structure for listings.

  • Price Rule: Set country-specific pricing adjustments, including fixed, percentage, or multiplication-based changes.

  • Rule Groups: Define dynamic conditions (e.g., title contains "Bag") to auto-assign products to the profile.

  • Category & Attribute Mapping: Assign products to Miravia categories and map required/optional attributes in bulk.

You can use a single profile to manage all products or create multiple profiles for different product categories, brands, or price strategies.

Note: The Default Profile is system-generated and cannot be deleted.

How to Create a Profile?

A Profile in the Miravia PrestaShop Connector allows you to group products and apply consistent settings for pricing, category mapping, and attribute management. This helps you manage large catalogs more efficiently and ensures every product listed meets Miravia’s data requirements.

Getting Started

To create a new profile:

  1. Go to the left menu and click Profile under the Miravia Connector.

  2. Click the + New Profile button at the top.

Step 1: Profile Info

On the Profile Info tab:

  • Profile Name: Add a unique and easily recognizable name for this profile.

  • Smart Posting:

    • If Enabled, category and attribute mapping is automated by Miravia.

    • If Disabled, you’ll manually map categories and attributes.

  • Title Optimization:
Set a custom structure for your product titles by combining attributes like Title, Brand, Product Type, etc. Make sure to add keywords for better visibility.

Click Next once this is configured.

Step 2: Price Rule

Use this tab to define country-specific pricing rules:

  • Select the countries you want to set a price: Spain, Portugal, Italy, or the same price all countries.

NOTE: Selling regions are dependent on the seller's allowed regions from Miravia

  • For separate countries:

    • Choose the rule type (Fixed Increment, Percent Increment, Fixed Decrement, Multiply).

    • Enter the value (e.g., 10 for +€10, or 1.2 for a 20% increase).

    • Choose whether to apply the rule to Regular Price, Sale Price, or both.

    • Use Disable Sale Price = Yes to ignore the discounted price on Miravia.

If you’ve set a Sale Price in your PrestaShop store but prefer to list only the Actual Price on Miravia, choose “Disable Sale Price” to Yes. Contrarily, if you want to set the same sale price, choose No. This is helpful when you don’t want Miravia to reflect promotional or discounted pricing from your PrestaShop store.

Important Behavior: If you're applying a custom price rule in one country (e.g., Spain), and want the base/default price to apply in another (e.g., Italy), you must:

  • Select that region (Italy)

  • Explicitly set Custom Price Rule = None

This prevents unintended pricing from being applied and ensures Miravia uses your default price in regions without a custom rule.

Use Case Example:

Let’s say:

  • You want to increase product prices by 10% in Spain

  • While using the default store pricing in Italy

  • And disable sale pricing in Portugal

Your setup would be:

  • Spain: % Increment → 10

  • Italy: None (custom rule disabled)

  • Portugal: None + Disable Sale Price → Yes

Step 3: Rule Groups (Product Selection)

Here, you’ll define the conditions to fetch products for this profile.

  • Use filters like category, title, vendor, quantity, etc.

  • Choose Any Condition (if at least one condition should match) or All Conditions (if all conditions must match).

  • Use Add More to include additional rule lines.

  • Click Run Query to preview how many products match the conditions.

  • Enable Override Existing Product if you want products already part of another profile to be moved into this one.

Step 4: Category & Attribute Mapping

This is where you assign the correct Miravia category and map all required product data.

  • Select the Miravia Category that best fits your product group.

  • Map Required Attributes (like EAN Code, Dimensions, Brand, Delivery Type).

  • Map Compliance Attributes if applicable:

    • Package/Label Photos

    • CPNP Notification

    • ECE Certification

  • Map Variant Attributes

These are required if the product has variants (like Size or Color).

Map PrestaShop options like Color and Size to Miravia variation fields.

Click “Option Value Mapping” to match Shopify values to Miravia equivalents.

  • Example: Shopify “Black” → Miravia “Deep Black”

  • Map Recommended Attributes for better ranking and richer product listings (not mandatory but highly recommended).

Final Step: Save the Profile

  • After completing all tabs, click Save.

  • Your profile will now appear in the main list.

  • You can edit it anytime using the pencil icon.

  • To delete, use the dropdown arrow → Delete (only for non-default profiles).

Note: The Default Profile is system-generated and cannot be deleted.
