Why do I have to Create A Profile?
Creating a profile is a crucial and MANDATORY step in the app for listing your products on Etsy.
Profiling ensures that all necessary fields—such as Shipping Template, Policy Template, Inventory and Price Rules, Marketplace Category, and other essential attributes—are shared with Etsy.
It also simplifies listing similar products in bulk. Once you've created a single profile, you can assign multiple products to it. This ensures that all the template rules—such as Shipping Template and Marketplace Category—are automatically applied, making the products ready to publish without the need to manually enter the details for each one.
Hence, this process only needs to be completed once per category. This streamlines the listing process and ensures consistency across your Etsy listings.
