How to Initiate Bulk Updates of Shopify Products
The Bulk Update feature allows you to efficiently update multiple product details using a CSV file. You can export product data—including titles, descriptions, inventory, prices, and SKUs—make necessary edits, and reimport the file to update listings in the app.
Steps to Perform a Bulk Update:
Export Product Data
On the Product Listing page, choose which products to update:
(Tip: Apply filters to refine the product selection before exporting.)
Choose the data fields you want to export (Title, Inventory, Price, Barcode, SKU, or all fields).
Click Export Products to download the CSV file.
Modify the Exported CSV File
Open the CSV file in a spreadsheet application.
Edit product details such as inventory levels, prices, titles, descriptions, and other necessary attributes.
Save the updated CSV file.
Import the Updated CSV File
Go back to the Product Listing page in the CedCommerce Amazon Channel app.
Click the Bulk Update button.
Click Add File and select the modified CSV file.
Click Import Products to apply the updates.
Note: The import process may take some time. You can monitor progress in the Recnt Activities section.
