Inventory Update

Inventory Update

Keep your product inventory accurate and up to date using the export and import tools provided in this section.

1. Export Inventory Information

Use this option to download your current product inventory data as a CSV file. This file will reflect inventory details such as quantities, SKUs, and product statuses.
  1. Use the dropdown menu to Select your Product Status (e.g., Published, Unpublished, etc.).
  2. Click on the Export button.
  3. A CSV file will be downloaded to your system containing inventory information for the selected product status.
Notes
This feature supports bulk inventory export, especially useful when managing inventory across Shopify Multiple Locations.

Filter by Product Status

Before exporting or updating inventory, you can streamline your actions by filtering products based on their status. Use the Product Status dropdown to select the specific set of products you want to work with.
  1. Click on the dropdown labeled “Select your Product Status.”
  2. Choose one or more of the following statuses:
    1. PUBLISHED – Products that are live and visible on Walmart.
    2. UNPUBLISHED – Products that were live but are currently not available for purchase.
    3. STAGE – Products that are staged and ready but not yet published.
    4. NOT UPLOADED – Products that haven’t been uploaded to Walmart yet.
    5. ITEM PROCESSING – Products currently being processed by Walmart’s system.

  1. You can Select All or Unselect All using the buttons at the top of the dropdown.
  2. Once selected, only the products matching the chosen status will be included in your CSV export or inventory update.
Notes
Using this filter ensures that your inventory updates are precise and relevant, avoiding changes to products not currently in scope.

2. Import Updated CSV File

After making necessary changes to the exported CSV file (e.g., updating inventory quantities), use this option to re-import the updated data into the app.
  1. Click Choose File and select the updated CSV file from your system.
  2. Click the Import button.
  3. Your changes will be reflected within the app.
  4. To sync the updates with Walmart, go to the Manage Products section and perform an Update Inventory action.

Notes
Always ensure that the file format and column structure remain unchanged when editing the CSV to avoid import errors.
