Account Creation & Login

If you’ve already created an account, jump directly to the login section. 

Follow the steps below to create a new account on the CedCommerce Gear Exchange Integration.

Registration 

Step 1: Access the Registration Page

Go to the CedCommerce Gear Exchange registration page by clicking the URL below:



Step 2: Fill in the Registration Form

  1. First Name:  first name should contain only alphabetic characters, with no numbers, special symbols, or spaces, and must be no longer than 30 characters.
  2. Last Name: The last name should contain only alphabetic characters, with no numbers, special symbols, or spaces, and must be no longer than 30 characters.
  3. Email Address: Must be in a proper email format (name@gmail.com).
Notes
This will be your primary login credential and will be used for password recovery and Application updates.
Password: This is one of the most critical fields. It is essential to use a strong, secure password to protect your account.

Password Requirements (all must be met):
  1. Minimum of 8 characters
  2. At least 1 uppercase letter (e.g., A, B, Z)
  3. At least 1 lowercase letter (e.g., a, b, z)
  4. At least 1 number (e.g., 1, 8)
  5. At least 1 special character (e.g., @, #, $, !, %)

Show/Hide Toggle: The eye icon on the right side of the password field can be clicked to toggle visibility.
Confirm Password: Re-enter your password exactly as you did in the Password field. This step helps prevent typing errors and ensures both entries match.

Step 3: Submit the Form

  1. Once all the fields are completed:
  2. Click the “Create Your Account” button.
  3. The system will validate all fields.
  4. If all the provided details are correct, you will receive an email containing a one-time password (OTP). A pop-up will appear in the app prompting you to enter this OTP.
  5. Once you enter the correct OTP, your account will be successfully created, and you will be redirected to the login page with a confirmation message.

Please note that the OTP is valid for 15 minutes only. 

Logging onto Your Account

Note: If you don’t yet have an account, click on “Register here” at the top of the login page.

Follow the steps below to log into your account on the Gear Exchange Integration:

Step 1: Visit the Login Page

Directly visit the login page of the app or click the following URL to access the login page: CedCommerce Gear Exchange Integration

Step 2: Enter Your Login Credentials

Email:
  1. Enter the email address you used during registration.
  2. It should be in the format: yourname@domain.com.
  3. Example: john@email.com
Important:
  1. Emails are case-insensitive.
  2. Avoid accidentally adding spaces after your email ID when copying/pasting.
Password
  1. Enter the password you set during account creation.
  2. This field is masked by default; click the eye icon to toggle visibility if needed.
  3. Ensure Caps Lock is off (unless your password includes uppercase letters intentionally).

Step 3: Click “Login”

Click the “Login” button at the bottom of the form.
If your credentials are correct:
  1. You will be redirected to the Onboarding step 1, i.e., Shopify App Creation & API Credentials.
If incorrect:
  1. An error message (e.g., “Invalid credentials”) may appear.
Forgot Your Password?
If you cannot remember your password:
  1. Click the “Forgot Password” link to the right of the password field.
  2. Enter your registered email.
  3. Follow the link sent to your inbox to reset your password.
If you’ve requested a password reset but didn’t receive the email or the link expired, this page allows you to regenerate a new password reset link quickly and securely. The "Regenerate Password Reset Link" feature allows users to request a new password reset email in case the original link has expired or was not received.


Follow the steps below to reset your password:
  1. Clicking the “Forgot Password” link on the login page.
  2. Selecting a link from an expired reset email that redirects here.


  1. Enter the same email address you used to create your account. 
  2. Press the button labeled “Generate password reset link”.
  3. The system will verify your email and send a new password reset link to your inbox.
Once you log in successfully, you will be directed to the onboarding process.
