The Amazon Configuration section allows you to manage global settings for the CedCommerce Amazon Integration module. These settings define how the extension interacts with Amazon and Magento for products, orders, and cron jobs.
1. Amazon Settings
- Enabled:
- Options: Yes / No
- Select Yes to activate the Amazon integration module.
- Select No to disable the module.
- Debug Logs:
- Options: Yes / No
- Select Yes to enable logging of system activities and integration events.
- Select No to disable logs.
Enable logs while testing or troubleshooting, and disable them in production for better performance.
2. Amazon Product Settings
This section controls product synchronization between Magento and Amazon. Here, you can configure rules for product export, attribute mapping, pricing, and inventory updates.
Amazon Inventory Settings
- Default Quantity: Set a default quantity to be used if Manage Stock is set to No.
- Set Inventory on the Basis of Threshold
- Options: Enable / Disable
- Enable this setting to update inventory on Amazon based on defined conditions, which include:
- Threshold Breakpoint – Define the minimum inventory quantity that acts as the cutoff for applying rules.
- Less Than – Specify the inventory value to send to Amazon when stock is below the threshold.
- Greater Than – Specify the inventory value to send to Amazon when stock is above the threshold.
- Use MSI Feature for Inventory
- Options: Yes / No
- Select Yes to sync inventory based on Magento Multi-Source Inventory (MSI) sources. Enabling yes will include:
- Inventory Source Mapping: This section allows you to link your Amazon account inventory with the corresponding Magento MSI Source/Stock. Mapping ensures accurate stock updates across platforms.
- Amazon Account → Displays the connected Amazon account.
- MSI Source/Stock → Select the Magento source or stock that should map with the chosen Amazon account.
- Action → Manage or remove mappings as needed.
- Tip: Use Add Attribute to create a new mapping between Amazon inventory and a Magento MSI source.
- Inventory Update Alternate SKU: Choose the SKU attribute for syncing inventory to Amazon.
- Single Amazon SKU: Enter the SKU value in the selected attribute.
- Multiple Amazon SKUs: Enter multiple SKU values separated by a pipe (|).
- Default: Magento uses the “sku” attribute.
Amazon Chunk Settings
These settings define the chunk size for batch processing of product, price, inventory, and status feeds to Amazon. Large feeds are split into smaller chunks to ensure smooth sync.
- Product Queue Chunk Size: Enter the size of a chunk for a queued product upload task (default: 100).
- Product Feed Chunk Size: Enter the size of a chunk for a product upload feed (default: 100).
- Price Queue Chunk Size: Enter the size of a chunk for a queued price update task (default: 500).
- Price Upload Feed Chunk Size: Enter the size of a chunk for a price feed (default: 5000).
- Inventory Queue Chunk Size: Enter the size of a chunk for a queued inventory update task (default: 500).
- Inventory Feed Chunk Size: Enter the size of a chunk for an inventory feed (default: 5000).
- Status Queue Chunk Size: Enter the size of a chunk for a queued status update task (default: 500).
- Status Feed Chunk Size: Enter the size of a chunk for a status feed (default: 5000).
Amazon Price Settings
These settings control how product prices from Magento are synced to Amazon.
- Product Price:
- Options: Same as Magento Price / Increase by Fixed Price / Decrease by Fixed Price / Increase by Fixed Percentage / Decrease by Fixed Percentage
- Select how product prices should be calculated for Amazon listings.
- Modify by Fix Price: Enter the fixed value or percentage (based on the option selected above) by which the price will be modified before being sent to Amazon.
- Price Update Alternate SKU: Choose the SKU attribute for syncing price updates.
- Single Amazon SKU: Enter the SKU value in the selected attribute.
- Multiple Amazon SKUs: Enter multiple SKU values separated by a pipe (|).
- Default: Magento uses the “sku” attribute.
3. Amazon Order Settings
This section outlines the process for importing and handling orders from Amazon within Magento. You can set rules for order status mapping, invoice generation, and default store assignment.
Status for Auto Import
Select the Amazon order statuses eligible for auto-import via cron.
- Pending – Import new pending orders.
- Unshipped – Import only unshipped orders.
- Partially Shipped – Import partially fulfilled orders.
- Shipped – Import completed/shipped orders.
- Cancelled – Import cancelled orders.
- Unfulfillable – Import orders Amazon marks as unfulfillable.
- Pending Availability – Import orders awaiting inventory availability.
Time for Auto Import
Select the time range for which cron will automatically fetch and import orders from Amazon. (e.g., -5 days imports orders from the last 5 days).
Use Magento Tax Class
- Enable → Use Magento’s tax class rules for imported orders.
- Disable → Apply tax directly from Amazon Order API data.
Auto Invoice Imported Order
- Enable → Automatically generate an invoice in Magento for successfully imported Amazon orders.
- Disable → Invoice must be created manually.
Auto Acknowledge Imported Orders
- Enable → Send an acknowledgement to Amazon once the order is successfully imported into Magento.
- Disable → Acknowledgement is not automatically sent.
Magento Increment ID Rules
Define how Magento order IDs should be formatted when orders are imported. Options include:
- Add Marketplace Code → Adds Amazon Marketplace Code as a prefix.
- Add Amazon Order ID → Replace Magento Increment ID with the Amazon Order ID.
- Add Prefix → Add a custom prefix defined in the next field.
- Add Fulfillment Channel → Adds AFN (Amazon Fulfilled) or MFN (Merchant Fulfilled).
- All Rules Applied → Combines all rules together.
Amazon Order ID Prefix
Enter a custom prefix (e.g., AMZN) to add to Magento order increment IDs when importing.
Enable Order Import Notification
- Enable → Receive in-store admin notifications for order imports.
- Disable → No Magento notification is triggered.
Enable Email Notification
- Enable → Send order import notifications via email.
- Disable → No email notifications sent.
Notification Email
Specify the recipient email address for order import notifications.
Receive Email Notification
Choose which types of order events will trigger email notifications:
- Failed – Notify only on failed imports.
- Imported – Notify only on successful imports.
- Both Failed and Imported – Notify for both cases.
Create Backorder
- Yes → Create backorders if product quantity is “Out of Stock” or less than the ordered quantity.
- No → Backorders not created automatically.
Enable Default Customer
- Yes → Use a default customer profile for order import.
- No → A new customer record is created for each imported order.
Default Customer
Enter the email ID of the default customer to associate with imported orders.
Use the Default Customer’s Billing Address
- Yes → Apply the default customer’s billing address to imported orders.
- No → Use the billing address from Amazon.
Import Tax [Only For GA, FL, NC] US Marketplace
- Yes → Add state-level tax to orders for supported states (GA, FL, NC).
- No → Do not import state-specific tax.
Import Shipping Tax
- Yes → Apply tax to shipping charges in imported orders.
- No → Exclude shipping tax.
Create Region/State
- Yes → Automatically create a new state/region in Magento if missing during order import.
- No → Do not create new states/regions.
Create Default Region
- Yes → Use a default region (“*”) if the required state/region is missing.
- No → Order import may fail if the region is unavailable.
Alternate SKU
Use this if Amazon SKUs differ from Magento SKUs. Map the alternate SKU attribute here.
- Single Amazon SKU → Enter one SKU value.
- Multiple Amazon SKUs → Enter multiple SKU values separated by a pipe (|).
- Default → Uses Magento SKU attribute.
Implement Store Tax to Amazon Orders
- Yes → Apply Magento store tax to imported Amazon orders.
- No → Do not apply store tax.
Is Tracking Number Required
- Yes → Enforce tracking number for shipment creation.
- No → Shipments can be created without tracking numbers.
Automatically Create Unavailable Product
- Yes → Automatically create a placeholder product in Magento if the ordered product is not available.
- No → Order import fails if product is missing.
Upload Invoice to Amazon
- Enable → Automatically upload generated Magento invoices to Amazon.
- Disable → Invoices are not uploaded.
4. Amazon Cron Settings
This section manages scheduled cron jobs for automated operations such as:
- Syncing product inventory and price updates
- Importing new orders from Amazon
- Updating shipment and tracking details
Order Cron
- Enable → Automatically imports Amazon orders into Magento every 15 minutes.
- Disable → Orders must be imported manually.
Price Cron
- Enable → Syncs product prices between Magento and Amazon once a day.
- Disable → Prices must be updated manually.
Inventory Cron
- Enable → Syncs product inventory between Magento and Amazon every 2 hours.
- Disable → Inventory updates must be done manually.
Shipment Cron
- Enable → Automatically updates shipment statuses between Magento and Amazon every 15 minutes.
- Disable → Shipments must be synced manually.
