The Order tab inside Settings is where you control how SHEIN orders behave once they reach your Shopify store. From handling sales tax to renaming orders for easy identification and mapping shipping carriers, this section ensures your order workflow stays clean, accurate, and aligned across both platforms.
1. Disable Sales Tax
The first option is a Disable sales tax checkbox. When this is checked, the app will skip syncing sales tax from SHEIN to Shopify. This is especially useful if Shopify is already configured to calculate its own taxes. Without this setting, customers could effectively get taxed twice. Leave it unchecked if you want SHEIN's tax data to flow through to Shopify as-is.
2. Sync 'To Be Shipped' Orders
When checked, the app will pull in SHEIN orders that are in the to be shipped state, meaning they're confirmed and ready for you to dispatch. If you only want to handle orders that are already fully prepped on SHEIN's side (rather than earlier-stage orders), enabling this is the right call. Leave it unchecked if you'd rather not import orders at this stage.
3. Modify Shopify Order Name
This checkbox, when enabled, lets you rename SHEIN orders inside Shopify for easier identification.
Edit Shopify Order Name (Optional)
This sub-section gives you flexibility over the order name format. Two dropdown fields are available:
- Prefix – A short label added before the SHEIN order ID. This helps you instantly spot SHEIN-originated orders in your Shopify order list.
- Suffix – A short label added after the order ID. Useful for tagging orders by channel, batch, or any internal naming convention you use.
Both fields are optional, and you can leave them blank, use just one, or use both. The resulting Shopify order name will combine them with the SHEIN order ID in between.
This is one of the most practical settings on the page, especially if you run a multi-channel store where it's important to immediately recognize which orders came from SHEIN.
4. Shipping Carrier Mapping
This is where you pair the carriers you use in Shopify with the equivalents recognized by SHEIN, so tracking and fulfillment data flow correctly between the two platforms.
Each mapping row has two required fields linked by a small chain-link icon:
- Shopify Carrier – A dropdown or search input where you select an existing Shopify shipping carrier, or add a new one.
- SHEIN Carrier – A dropdown where you choose the matching carrier from SHEIN's recognized list.
A trash icon on the right of each row lets you delete the mapping if it's no longer needed.
]You can add multiple mappings to cover every carrier you use. Correct mappings ensure that when an order ships, the tracking carrier name is consistent between both platforms, preventing confusion for both you and your customers.
