Overview

The Products section is your centralized dashboard to manage, monitor, and perform actions on all Shopify products you wish to sync with Gear Exchange.



From the left sidebar, click on Products under the main menu.
There are two tabs available in the product section.
  1. All Tab: Displays all products from your Shopify store. It also includes all statuses: Uploaded, Not Uploaded, Errors (if any).
  2. Not Uploaded Tab: Filters only the products that haven’t been uploaded to Gear Exchange.

Product Grid

Each row represents one product with the following columns:

Description

Image

Displays the product’s thumbnail. If not available, a placeholder with “No Image” is shown.

Product

Shows the product title in bold. Below it, you’ll find:

• Product ID (PID) – Unique identifier from Shopify.

• Gear Exchange ID – Appears only if the product has been uploaded to Gear Exchange.

Inventory

Current stock level (e.g., “2 in stock”, “0 in stock”). For variant products, inventory is the combined total of all variants.

Price

Shopify product prices will be shown. If the product has variants, the price will be displayed as a range, from the minimum to the maximum variant price.

Variants

Indicates whether the product has variants. If the seller clicks "View Variants," detailed information will be displayed, including the variant image, name, SKU, link type (auto or manual), gear exchange status, inventory, and price.

Link Type

Indicates how the product is connected to Gear Exchange:

• Uploaded: Product was uploaded from the app.

• - (Hyphen): Product is not linked/uploaded yet.

Gear Exchange Status

Upload/publish status:

• Published – Successfully live on Gear Exchange.

• Not Uploaded – Yet to be uploaded.

Actions

Each product has an Edit button. Clicking it opens product settings for updating titles, descriptions, inventory, etc., before uploading or re-uploading.

Search Functionality




You can search products using:
  1. Product Title
  2. Product ID (PID)
Partial or full matches will return results dynamically.

Sorting Options


Use the sort icon (next to the filter/search bar) to sort products by:

  • Created On:

    • Newest → Oldest

    • Oldest → Newest

  • Product Title:

    • A → Z

    • Z → A

These sorting options help prioritize product listings for review or action.

Pagination Controls

Control how many products you view per page:

  • Options: 5, 10, 25, or 50 products

  • Use the page navigation buttons at the bottom to switch between pages.

Bulk Actions via Checkboxes



Each product has a checkbox at the start of its row. You can select:

  • Individual products

  • Multiple products

  • All products on the page

Once selected, choose from the bulk action toolbar at the top.

Primary Bulk Actions


  • Upload Products – Upload selected products to Gear Exchange.

  • Update Products – Push recent changes (price, inventory, etc.) to Gear Exchange.

More Actions 

Click on the three dots on the right side of the product search bar, and you will be able to access: 

  • Publish Products – Publish deactivated products.

  • Deactivate Products – Temporarily remove products from the Gear Exchange.

  • Delete Products – Permanently remove them from the Gear Exchange listing (won’t affect Shopify).

Info
Deletion and deactivation only affect Gear Exchange; your Shopify products remain untouched.
