Overview

This helps you match and sync products between Gear Exchange and your Shopify store to ensure inventory, listings, and data remain consistent across platforms. The Product Linking interface is divided into three main tabs to help you manage product syncing based on their matching status:

1. Linked

• Shows Gear Exchange products that are successfully linked to Shopify products.

• These links are created either automatically (based on barcode) or manually.

• Includes product details from both platforms:
  
  

• Product Name

• Product ID

• Barcode

• Status (e.g., Draft or Publish)

You can unlink any product pair if needed.

2. Pending

1. Lists products from Gear Exchange whose titles match Shopify products.
2. These are not auto-linked, but are available for manual review and linking.
3. Useful for resolving near matches that need confirmation.
   

3. Not Linked

• Contains products that:

• Do not have matching titles or barcodes in Shopify.

• Exist in Shopify but have not been uploaded to Gear Exchange yet.

• These items require manual linking or uploading.

Product Details View

Each product entry shows:

• Gear Exchange Product info: name, ID, serial number

• Shopify Product info: name, ID, barcode, image, link to Shopify admin

• Gear Exchange Status: like Draft or Publish

• Link Status: shows if it was Manual or Auto

• Actions: includes an Unlink button in the Linked tab
