Settings in the AliExpress Connector
The Configuration section in the PrestaShop AliExpress Connector lets you define how products sync between your PrestaShop store and AliExpress. These settings act as global rules and will apply to all products unless overridden at the profile or product level.
Proper configuration ensures seamless product uploads, accurate inventory tracking, and smooth data synchronization.
This section controls how your product data is managed globally for all listings on AliExpress.
Set how your product titles should appear on AliExpress.
You can create a dynamic title using a combination of attributes such as:
Brand, Title, Meta Title, Category, Supplier Name, etc.
Note: If left blank, the connector will use the original PrestaShop product title.
These options determine how products are uploaded, updated, or deleted:
Choose which product fields the connector should sync from the app to AliExpress.
You can enable/disable syncing for:
Title
Description
Price
Weight
Image
💡 If disabled, PrestaShop’s original values (not app-edited ones) will be used.
Controls whether attributes like stock, category, and mapped attributes should sync during updates.
Unchecking a field means those attributes will not be updated on AliExpress.
Once all preferences are configured, click Update to save and apply these settings.
The Price Rule tab allows you to define how product prices will be adjusted for listings on AliExpress. Unlike Miravia, AliExpress does not use region-specific pricing in this connector.
Instead, you can apply a single global rule for all your products.
You can increase or decrease your product prices on AliExpress using the following options:
đź’ˇ Example:
Fixed Increment: +5 → A product priced at $100 in PrestaShop will list at $105 on AliExpress.
Percentage Increment: +10% → The same product will list at $110.
This option controls whether sale prices from PrestaShop are sent to AliExpress:
Yes → The connector ignores any sale price and uses the regular price for AliExpress listings.
No → Both the regular price and sale price from PrestaShop are respected when syncing to AliExpress.
Once you’ve defined your custom pricing rules, click Update to save the settings. These rules will automatically apply to all products unless overridden at the product or profile level.
The Order Settings tab allows you to define how AliExpress orders sync with your PrestaShop store. These configurations automate how orders are fetched, processed, and displayed.
Select Custom DNI Value
This setting determines the value populated in the DNI (Documento Nacional de Identidad) field.
Available Options:
Disable: DNI is not passed with the order.
Buyer ID: Uses the buyer’s ID as the DNI value.
Order ID: Uses the AliExpress Order ID as the DNI value.
Custom Value: Allows you to manually enter a value to be passed as DNI.
PrestaShop Order Create Status
Define the default order status for newly created AliExpress orders in PrestaShop.
Example: Set this to Processing in Progress to keep order workflows consistent.
Customer Email in Order
Enable: Passes the customer’s email to PrestaShop.
Disable: A placeholder email (e.g., buyerid@aliexpress.com) or custom value is used.
Remove AliExpress Discount From Orders
Enable: Excludes AliExpress platform discounts from the synced order total in PrestaShop.
Disable: Discounts applied on AliExpress remain reflected in the PrestaShop order.
Sync Order
Enable: Automatically syncs all new orders from AliExpress into PrestaShop.
Disable: Orders must be fetched manually.
Remove Shipping Cost
Enable: Excludes shipping fees when orders are created in PrestaShop.

Enter Payment Method
Define a label (e.g., “AliExpress”) to be displayed as the payment method for orders synced from AliExpress.
Sync Cancelled Order Status
Enable: Syncs cancellation updates from AliExpress to PrestaShop in real time.
Disable: Cancelled statuses are not reflected, requiring manual intervention.
The Advance Mapping tab allows you to establish a correct relationship between PrestaShop’s shipping carriers and order statuses with AliExpress. Proper mapping ensures orders sync accurately and are processed without manual intervention.
This section ensures that when an order is imported, the shipping carrier names from PrestaShop align with AliExpress shipping methods.
How to configure:
Go to Configuration > Advanced Mapping > Shipping Carrier Mapping.
Under PrestaShop, you’ll see a list of carriers available in your store (e.g., demo1765, My carrier).
In the corresponding AliExpress dropdown, select the matching shipping carrier for each PrestaShop carrier.
Use the bottom dropdown to choose the default carrier method for creating orders on PrestaShop if no mapping is found.
Click Update to save changes.
Why it matters:
Without mapping, orders might fail to sync correctly or display “None” as the shipping method, which can cause fulfillment issues.
This section aligns the order statuses between AliExpress and PrestaShop to ensure order progress is tracked correctly across both platforms.
How to configure:
Under Order Status Mapping, view the list of AliExpress order statuses (e.g., Shipping, Delivered).
For each AliExpress status, select the equivalent PrestaShop status from the dropdown.
Make sure all statuses are mapped to prevent order tracking discrepancies.
Click Update to save.
Example:
AliExpress “Shipping” → PrestaShop “In Transit”
AliExpress “Delivered” → PrestaShop “Delivered”
The Advance Sync tab is a troubleshooting and maintenance tool. It allows you to refresh mappings if they appear outdated or inconsistent.

When to use Advance Sync?

As part of regular maintenance to ensure data integrity.
The Account Information tab gives you a centralized view of the accounts connected to the connector — both your PrestaShop store and AliExpress seller account.
Email ID: Displays the admin email address linked to the module.
Store URL: Shows the URL where the connector module is installed.
Created At: The timestamp when the connector was first configured.
Seller ID: The unique identifier for your AliExpress seller account.

Refresh Token Expire At: Displays the expiration date of the current token used for secure API access.
If the refresh token is nearing its expiry:
Navigate to Configuration > Account Information.
Click the Reauthorize button.
You’ll be redirected to AliExpress to log in and grant necessary permissions.
Once done, the connector will re-establish the connection and update the token automatically.
Why this matters:
Keeping your account details and token up to date ensures uninterrupted syncing of products, orders, and inventory between PrestaShop and AliExpress.
