Which Shopify metafields are imported into the app

The app imports Shopify metafields — both product-level and variant-level — as part of the product sync. You can then use them as source values when mapping attributes to Amazon.

Supported metafield types

The following 8 Shopify metafield types are imported into the app:

  • Boolean
  • Color
  • Date
  • Date & Time
  • Number (Decimal)
  • Number (Integer)
  • Single-Line Text Field
  • Multi-Line Text Field

Metafields are imported for both parent (main) products and child (variant) products.

How often they sync

Metafields sync once a day. Any metafield you add or edit in Shopify will be picked up during the next daily sync and then be available for attribute mapping.

Note: Metafield values are imported exactly as they appear in Shopify. If you want the value on Amazon to look different (for example, show RED on Amazon when your Shopify value is Red), use the Value Mapping option on that attribute.
