Template-Based Upload (For Bulk Listings Within the Same Category)
- In the CedCommerce Amazon Sales Channel app, navigate to Settings > Template > Product Template, then click Add New Template.

-Provide a clear and descriptive name for your template (for example, Men’s Shirt).

-Enable GTIN Exemption (If Applicable)
- Scroll down to the Barcode/GTIN Exemption section.
- If your product does not have valid GS1 barcodes but you’ve been approved for a GTIN Exemption in that category, check the Barcode/GTIN Exemption box.

- Category Selection : Choose the most relevant Amazon category path for your product group.

- Attribute Mapping: In this section, ensure that all required attributes are mapped one by one under Safety and Compliance, Product Identity, and Product Details.
Note: If your brand is not approved under Amazon Brand Registry, go to the Product Identity section, select Set Custom Value, and enter Generic as both the brand and manufacturer name.
Map Variation Theme (if your product has variants):If your products include variants, you must map the Variation Theme. This step ensures that all product variations (such as size or color) are correctly grouped under a single parent product on Amazon
The variation attributes (e.g., Color, Size) will then appear on the product detail page beneath the parent product.

Note: Ensure that all products grouped under the same template share identical variant attributes (e.g., size, color). Mixing products with different variant attributes in one template can cause listing errors or improper grouping on Amazon. If your products have different variant attributes, create a separate template for each set of attributes.
- Select the Variation Theme Name (e.g., Color, Size, Color-Size) based on Amazon’s recommendations.

In the Variation Theme Name field, map the appropriate attributes according to Amazon’s recommendations.
Example: map Color and Size as variant attributes if your product comes in multiple colors andsizes.
Guide: How to Map Variation Themes for Products:
- Assigning Products to the Template: After completing attribute mapping, scroll to the bottom of the page and use the Filters option to assign products to the template.
The CedCommerce app offers two ways to assign products to a template:
Manual Selection
- As the name suggests, you can manually assign the template to products.
- Enter the product title, click Browse Products, and select the products you want to list.
- Select the products you want to list and click Continue to proceed.
- Advanced Selection : Use filters (such as product category, tags, or other conditions) to select products in bulk. Click See Query Result to view the number of products that match the selected conditions.
Once the products have been assigned, save the template.
Next, navigate to the Listing page, select the products you want to list, and initiate the upload command from there.
