Understanding Order Settings

With this setting option you can customise rules for your orders. It includes the following: 
  1. Customer Email in Order: This setting lets you control how customer email addresses are handled in the orders synced to PrestaShop. 
1. Disable: The customer's email will not be passed with the order, instead your default TikTok ID will be sent as customer Id in this case.  
2. Custom Value: Enter a specific email address to be used for all synced orders. This can be useful when you need a placeholder or support email.
  1. Custom DNI Value: You can enter a custom value as a Documento Nacional de Identidad (DNI) if it's required for orders, or leave it blank to use the order ID as the DNI. With this, you can smoothly manage the syncing of order taxes between your PrestaShop store and TikTok Shop for eligible orders. 
  2. Sync Order: Enable or disable the automatic syncing of orders from TikTok Shop to your PrestaShop store.
  3. Order Creation Status: You can select from the list of statuses available to determine which TikTok Shop orders created on PrestaShop will fall under which category.

  1. Order Creation Shipping Carrier: Choose the shipping carrier method to be used for order creation in your PrestaShop store.
  2. Order Creation Payment Method: Pick a suitable payment method for creating orders on Prestashop.
  3. Sync Marketplace-Funded Discount:  TikTok often funds promotional discounts to boost product visibility and sales, while still ensuring sellers receive the full order amount. The Sync Marketplace-Funded Discount setting ensures that your PrestaShop order reflects the original (pre-discount) product value, matching what TikTok pays you.
  4. Delayed Shipping Alerts: Enable this option to get an email reminder 24 hours before an order's shipping due date—enabling you to process and ship on time.
  5. Sync TikTok Shipping Orders: Enable this setting to automatically sync shipping orders from TikTok Shop to your PrestaShop store, so you can manage fulfillment in one place without manual updates.
    1. Create Shipped Order: Enable this option to mark orders as “Shipped” in PrestaShop upon sync, so you can reflect fulfillment status instantly and avoid additional manual updates.
    2. Deduct Inventory on PrestaShop (FBT orders only): Enable this option to automatically deduct inventory for FBT orders in PrestaShop, so you can maintain accurate stock levels and prevent overselling. 

  1. On-Hold Order Management: Decide when orders should sync during TikTok Shop’s 1-hour hold period, so you can balance early processing with the risk of cancellations.
    1. Sync after 1 hour (Recommended): Sync orders only after the hold period ends, so you process confirmed orders and avoid unnecessary cancellations or changes.
    2. Sync immediately: Sync orders right away to start processing sooner, with the understanding that some order details (such as address) may be updated later.
    3. Reserve inventory immediately & sync after 1 hour: Reserve stock as soon as the order is placed while delaying sync, so you can prevent overselling without acting on orders that may still be canceled.

  1. Order Status Mapping: Map your order status on TikTok Shop with that on PrestaShop for easy and error-free order status syncing between the two channels.
