What is the difference between an offer listing and a new listing?

If the item you want to list already exists in the Amazon catalog, it has to be listed as an offer. If the item does not already exist in the Amazon catalog, it will be listed as a new listing.


Offer Listing:


  • Creating a new offer for an existing product on Amazon.

  • You're adding your product to an already established product page.

  • You'll be competing with other sellers on the same page.

New Listing:


  • Creating a completely new product page on Amazon.

  • You're the first seller for this specific product.
