Ads Settings

Ads Settings

The Ads Settings section allows you to enable advanced tracking for your Facebook and Instagram campaigns through Conversion API. This ensures more reliable event tracking and better ad performance measurement compared to browser-only pixels.

Use Conversion API

Purpose:

  1. The Conversion API (CAPI) sends website events (like product views, add-to-cart, checkout initiations, and purchases) directly from your server to Facebook.
  2. Unlike browser-based tracking, CAPI provides more accurate data, even when cookies or ad blockers limit pixel tracking.

How to Enable

  1. Toggle the Use Conversion API switch to ON.
  2. Events will start being tracked directly through Facebook’s server integration.
  3. Click Save to apply changes.

Benefits of Enabling Conversion API

  1. More reliable event tracking.
  2. Improved campaign optimization with accurate signals.
  3. Better reporting on conversions and audience actions.
  4. Works alongside the browser pixel for a complete tracking setup.

Best Practices

  1. Always keep Conversion API enabled for maximum data accuracy.
  2. Use CAPI together with the Facebook Pixel (browser-based) for redundancy and full funnel tracking.
  3. Regularly monitor your Facebook Events Manager to ensure data is being received properly.
With Conversion API enabled, your campaigns gain more precise targeting, better optimization, and improved measurement—all of which help boost ROAS on Facebook and Instagram.
