Facebook Settings

This section of the Ced Facebook Feed Sync & Pixel app lets you connect your Shopify store with Facebook Business assets to manage catalogs, ads, and events seamlessly. Follow the steps below to configure your Facebook integration.


1. Connected Facebook Account 

  1. Purpose: Connect your Facebook Business account to enable catalog syncing, ads, and event tracking.
  2. Status Indicators:
    1. Connected – Your Facebook account is successfully linked.
    2. Not Connected – No account is linked. 
  3. Actions: 
    1. Update – Refresh the connection with your linked account.
    2. Disconnect – Remove the existing account connection. 

2. Facebook Catalog 

  1. Purpose: This is the catalog where your Shopify products are synced automatically.
  2. Details Displayed: 
    1. Catalog Name (e.g., Shopify Product Catalog)
    2. Catalog ID (unique numeric identifier) 
  3. Action:
    1. Edit – Change or update the catalog connection if needed. 
Notes
Always ensure your catalog is linked correctly before launching ad campaigns or publishing products to Facebook/Instagram. 

3. Facebook Checkout (For US Only) 

  1. Purpose: Enables customers in the US to purchase products directly from your Facebook or Instagram shop without leaving the platform.
  2. Status: 
    1. Not Connected – Indicates the feature is not yet set up.
  3. Action: 
    1. Setup – Begin the onboarding process for Facebook Checkout. 
Notes
This feature is only available for US sellers. If you are outside the US, the option will remain disabled. 

4. Instagram Shopping 

  1. Purpose: Allows you to create a shareable product catalog that can be displayed on Instagram, enabling product tagging in posts and stories.
  2. Status: 
    1. Not Connected – The app has not been connected to Instagram Shopping.
    2. Eligibility Message – If you see “You are not eligible for Instagram shopping”, it means your account does not currently meet Instagram’s commerce eligibility requirements. 
  3. Action: 
    1. Setup (if eligible) – Begin linking your Instagram Business account to the catalog.

Check Instagram’s Commerce Eligibility Requirements before attempting setup.

This ensures your Shopify products sync seamlessly with Meta platforms, making them ready for ads, shops, and conversions.
