Issue:
Some users notice that their Amazon inventory shows different inventory count, even though the app is syncing the correct stock levels and no such inventory settings are enabled in the app.
Cause / Finding:
This behavior is due to BIL (Business Inventory Link) functionality in Amazon Seller Central.
What is BIL?
BIL is a tool provided by Amazon to synchronize listings across multiple marketplaces.
How it works:
If you update the price or stock in one marketplace (e.g., US), BIL automatically reflects those updates in another marketplace (e.g., Canada).
So, even though the app is syncing the correct stock levels, when a manual sync is initiated, Amazon may temporarily display original inventory due to BIL updating or reflecting inventory changes across marketplaces.
Resolution / Recommendation:
-No action is required in the app, as it is syncing correctly.
-Disable Amazon BIL to stop its synchronization across marketplaces; the inventory will not match once BIL updates are disabled
