The CedCommerce Feed tab shows the primary feed used for syncing your products to Facebook. It ensures your catalog is always updated with Shopify changes.
Products Overview
In this section, you can view all your synced products and their upload status.
- All → Displays the total number of products.
- Not Uploaded → Products not yet synced to Facebook.
- Error → Products with sync issues (e.g., missing details, disapproved listings).
- Pending → Products awaiting sync.
- Warning → Products uploaded but flagged for missing/incorrect attributes.
- Uploaded → Successfully synced products.
Product Grid
- Image → Preview of the product.
- Title & ID → Product name with Shopify ID.
- Product Template → Template applied.
- Price → Selling price.
- Quantity → Available stock.
- Status → Upload success/error messages.
- Action → Edit the product listing.
More Actions
- Sync Facebook Status → Refresh the status of your uploaded products with Facebook.
- Sync with Shopify → Pulls the latest product details from your Shopify store (e.g., price, inventory, description).
Bulk Upload
Upload multiple products at once to Facebook without editing them individually.
Filters & Search
- Search by product title or ID.
- Additional Fields / More Filters → Refine product view by status, template, or sync condition.
Edit Action
- Product Image & Title → Displays the product name, ID, and preview image.
- Sync Facebook Status → Manually refresh the product’s sync status with Facebook.
- Title:
- Product name as it will appear on Facebook & Instagram Shops.
- Keep it short, clear, and descriptive (avoid unnecessary keywords).
- Price:
- The selling price of the product.
- Ensure it matches your Shopify store pricing to avoid discrepancies.
- Quantity:
- The available stock count.
- Set a correct value to ensure Facebook reflects accurate availability.
- Description:
- Enter a product description that highlights features, benefits, and use.
- Use the rich text editor to add formatting (bold, bullet points, links, etc).
Unnecessary tags not supported by Facebook will be automatically removed.
Actions
- View Details → Opens a quick view of additional product information.
- Sync Facebook Status → Click after editing to check the updated sync status with Facebook.
- Save/Update → Apply your edits and push them to your feed.
Best Practices
- Ensure title and description are concise and Facebook-compliant.
- Add high-quality product images in Shopify for the best display.
- Keep inventory updated to avoid "Out of Stock" errors.
- Use SEO-friendly product titles (customers may discover your products via Facebook search).
