Product Section Overview

The Product Section in the AliExpress Shopify Connector gives you a centralized workspace to view, sync, list, and manage all your Shopify products for the AliExpress Marketplace. Whether you want to bulk upload or update individual listings, this section provides all the tools you need to keep your catalog accurate, compliant, and up to date.

Product Status

At the top, you’ll find filters that let you view products by their current AliExpress status:

  • All – Displays every product.

  • Online Products – Products successfully uploaded and live on AliExpress.

  • Offline Products – Products that were live earlier but are now inactive.

  • Processing – Products currently being processed by AliExpress.

  • Pending Approval – Products awaiting approval from AliExpress before going live.

  • Audit Failure – Products that failed AliExpress’s compliance or quality checks.

  • Error – Products that couldn’t be uploaded due to errors (e.g., missing info, mapping issues).

  • Not Ready – Products missing mandatory details, preventing upload.

  • Not Uploaded – Products imported into the app but not yet uploaded to AliExpress.

  • Draft – Products saved as draft in the app, not yet submitted for upload.

Sync Status

  • This performs a sync between your Shopify store and AliExpress, updating product statuses.

Editing Product Details

To edit:

  1. Click the three-dot menu → Edit.

  2. Update fields as needed:

Steps to Edit a Product

  1. Check Title & Description

    • The title is auto-pulled from Shopify and may be locked if sync is enabled.

    • Edit the description to improve clarity and AliExpress SEO.

  2. Add Images

    • Upload or reorder images.

    • Only the first 8 images are sent to AliExpress, and the first one becomes the main display image.

  3. Review Inventory

    • Confirm SKU and available stock levels.

    • Ensures accurate product availability on AliExpress.

  4. Verify Barcode & Brand

    • Enter or confirm the product barcode (UPC/EAN) and brand name.

    • These fields are often required for AliExpress compliance.

  5. Set Pricing

    • Enter Regular Price and, if needed, a Sale Price.

    • If left blank or set to 0, only the Regular Price is pushed.

    • Prices apply globally; no regional pricing is supported.

  6. Confirm Weight

    • Check the product weight for accurate shipping charges.

    • Field may be locked if profile-level sync is active.

  7. Check Profile & Status

    • Shows which profile the product belongs to.

    • Displays the current AliExpress status (e.g., Online Product, Pending).

  8. Adjust Custom Sync Settings

    • Decide which product details (Title, Price, Description, Weight, Images) sync automatically.

    • Disable fields if you don’t want Shopify updates to overwrite AliExpress edits.

  9. Set Attribute Sync Settings

    • Choose which attributes (Price, Stock, Title, Description, Image, Category) update during sync.

    • Uncheck fields to keep manual changes made directly on AliExpress.

  10. Fill Attributes

    • Complete all required fields:

      • Required Attributes – Mandatory for listing.

      • Product Qualification Attributes (GPSR) – Mandatory for EU sellers (e.g., Responsible Person info, label photos, warnings).

      • Variation Attributes – Define product variations like size or color.

      • Recommended Attributes – Optional but improve visibility and search ranking.

  11. Save Changes

    • After editing, click Save Attributes to apply updates and push changes to AliExpress.

Tips for Best Results:

  • First image in the gallery is always the primary image on AliExpress.

  • Pricing is global—regional pricing isn’t supported.

  • To edit locked fields, disable sync at the product level.

  • EU sellers must complete all GPSR-required fields to stay compliant.

The Product Section lets you fully manage your AliExpress listings—ensuring products are complete, compliant (GPSR for EU), and synced in real time with your Shopify store.
